Every 30-year-old girl who has not been married will be chanted by relatives during the holidays:
"Don't find someone yet?"
"Hurry up while you are young. It's hard to give birth when you are old!"
"Young People have to start a family first, and then start a business. Only when they have children, can they be motivated to work hard."
(Source: Internet)
In fact, most girls have heard that "24-29 years old is the best childbearing age", but a heart-wrenching one The fact is that many people at this age are just at the stage where their careers are just getting on track. If you choose "sheng" at this time, it often means giving up "promotion."
Because having children is likely to push women in the workplace into a crisis of marginalization.

and after giving birth, women's time will continue to be dragged by work, housework, and children. At present, most of the housework is borne by women by default.

In the TV series "Settle Down", the gynecologist mother who needs to work overtime at night can only work on the toilet in order not to disturb her family.
In this predicament, many girls have to miss the "golden period of childbirth", but at the same time, they are also worried, what will happen if they miss it?
First of all, a clear fact is: as the age increases, the fertility of men and women will decrease, the probability of miscarriage and fetal malformations will increase, and the risk of pregnancy and delivery will increase.
1. The chance of women getting pregnant naturally decreases with age
According to data from the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, the chance of a healthy 25-year-old woman getting pregnant every month is about 25%. In other words, 25 out of every 100 women who try to conceive that month will succeed. At the age of 30, the probability is 20%, and by the age of 40, this number is reduced to less than 5% [1]. Z1z
also declines with ovarian reserve, which refers to the number and quality of follicles in the ovaries. Women's ovarian reserve peaks around birth, and then gradually declines until menopause [2]. Z1z
also affects the quality of the eggs. If the quality of the eggs is not good or there is genetic abnormality, then it may not be fertilized, the fertilized eggs cannot be implanted in the uterus or cause abortion.
However, there is no direct clinical method to determine egg quality, and only the percentage of abnormal embryos can be used to estimate the relationship between egg quality and age. It can also be seen that with age, the percentage of abnormal embryos gradually increases.
In fact, women of every age group face a certain risk of miscarriage (about 10%-15%), and with age, the risk of spontaneous abortion increases accordingly, and it rises rapidly after the age of 35 [3] .
2. The risk of serious complications when giving birth between 30 and 34 years old may not be as high as you think.
A statistical study of more than 7 million pregnant and lying-in women in the United States in 2009 shows that compared with women aged 25 to 29, young women (≤19 years old) The probability of premature birth, chorioamnionitis, endometritis, and mild preeclampsia is increased.
The probability of pregnancy and childbirth complications such as premature delivery, hypertension, severe pre-eclampsia, preeclampsia and postpartum hemorrhage has increased significantly in elderly pregnant women (≥35 years old) [4].

The horizontal axis of the above figure represents different age groups, and the vertical axis is the number of incidences of pregnancy-related complications per 1,000 people. It can be seen intuitively:
has a high probability of complications at both ends and low in the middle.
In other words, too young or too old will increase the risk, but the intermediate risk is relatively low, and the gap between the 25-29 year old group and the 30-34 year old group is actually not too big.
but over 35 years old, the probability of complications during pregnancy and childbirth will be obviousincrease. This is why the 35-year-old is regarded as the standard for "elderly-aged women" in medicine.
In addition to complications during pregnancy and childbirth, everyone is most concerned about the condition of the fetus. Indeed, as the age increases, the probability of abnormalities in the fetus will definitely be higher. But in fact, the absolute value of is not as high as we thought.
Statistics from a large sample study in Canada show that the risk of adverse pregnancy and childbirth outcomes increases with the age of pregnant women. But the absolute risk of serious fetal and infant adverse outcomes, even for women over 35 years of age, this value is relatively low (5%-7%) [5].

Many women have to disrupt their life arrangements under the pressure of "optimal age at birth"; there are also many people , I was anxious because I missed the best childbearing age, as if those serious things were about to happen to me. In fact, when
is born "best", there is no optimal solution. From a medical point of view, we comprehensively analyze the above data and take into account the health of ourselves and the baby, it is certainly the best that can give birth at the age of 24 to 29.
but if you miss it, it's not that bad. Be aware that even healthy women in their 20s can have some undesirable outcomes. Generally speaking, there is still a great probability of giving birth before the age of 35 and everything will go well. It does not mean that there will be problems if you are over 30.
Childbirth is just the beginning. It takes time, patience, economy and wisdom to raise a child. It is not just a medical perspective.
Just entered the society in her early 20s and was forced to choose childbirth when she was unable to take responsibility for herself and her children. The impact on girls' lives may not be less than the incidence of a few percent.

For young people, the "best childbearing age" should not be a binding of "age is reached", but should be prepared for both , To welcome the arrival of a new life.
For girls, what they need is not the advice of relatives to "give birth early and happy", but the right to choose childbirth, but their partners can realize that doing housework and caring for children is not "help" but also their own responsibility , But after giving birth, they don’t have to bear the prejudices of the society and can compete fairly in the workplace like men.
