"Traveling in the Cattle's Belly" is an interesting fairy tale. It mainly writes the stories of two small crickets "red head" and "green head" in the order of development. Hongtou and Qingtou played hide-and-seek, Hongtou was accidentally eaten by a cow, and successfully escaped with the encouragement and comfort of the witty and brave Qingtou.

From this story, we feel Qingtou's wit, courage and friendship with friends, and also make us understand that when we encounter difficulties, we must try our best to find ways to solve them.

Some students don’t like to read, and in addition, there are many paragraphs in this text. I explain it separately in three aspects: playing hide-and-seek, traveling in the belly, and successfully getting rid of danger. Among them, in the travel part of the belly, I seized the key paragraphs for students to read together and set up problems, such as finding out the movements and language descriptions of Qingtou to feel Qingtou’s bravery and wit, as well as its friendship with friends. Use the simple picture [in the cow's mouth~the first stomach~the second stomach~the mouth] to let students see it at a glance. Therefore, it is easier to complete the key and difficult points of teaching.

For the new words in this lesson, I use one word to group multiple words to let students freely say the words they know. On the one hand, this motivates students' enthusiasm, and on the other hand, it can also know what words students have easily confused. The word "王" and its pinyin are the ones that make more mistakes in the practice of students.
