There is a song that goes well, "Love says it, love does it"; the same is true for kindness. You must not only have kind thoughts in your heart, but also put them into good deeds.

And this is Yechen’s experience and practice.

I experienced two things this week, which made me feel deeply.

One thing is that when I went to the bathroom at work two days ago, there was no water in one of the toilets, which was disgusting. The flushing pressure of this pit is very small. As long as you stay in the pit when squatting, it will be difficult to flush down. You can only use a brush to handle it manually. I thought to myself, this guy probably couldn't handle it anymore, so he just left. There is sympathy for him, but also contempt. I moved to another room, and after using the toilet, I hesitated to brush it off, and then left.

Reflecting on this matter, everyone will have a sense of moral superiority in their hearts, especially when they see others making mistakes, there will be a bunch of people whispering and gesticulating around, without the courage to shout loudly, or There is no action to help others correct their mistakes. And I will hint in my heart: Look, there are such bad people, I am much better than him, I am kind and civilized, so as to comfort myself. I saw that I was one of them.

Another thing is that it has been more than a month since I moved to the office building. There is a water boiling room next to the office, which is equipped with an electric water heater for purifying water. People on the first floor are there to turn on the water. The first time I went in to fetch water, I was surprised. How could there be such a sanitary corner in this building? There is a place for pouring tea in the cold pool next to it. It is so dirty that it is stained with rust and tea leaves are everywhere. There is also an instant noodle bucket thrown away at some point behind the door, and there is a dirty bucket on the table. The glass jug had been there for at least a week, untouched. After we first met, I thought about cleaning it, but then I thought it was none of my business, so forget it. Why! After a few weeks of this, my concentration has improved, and I can turn a blind eye and remain unmoved.

This afternoon, a buddy of mine in the office (he came here two weeks after me) picked up scissors and opened a package. I glanced at it and took out an insecticide-like jar. He muttered that the water room next to ours was too dirty, and then walked out. I turned my head and continued typing, but after thinking about it, I seemed to understand what was going on. I ran out and saw that he was spraying the stainless steel pool by himself. When he saw me, he said, "This thing is amazing. Just spray it and rub it and the rust will be gone." It turned out that he bought the rust remover online. Spirit, and also presented gloves, linen and other tools.

I hurried back to the house and picked up a broom and mop to join in. The two of us thoroughly cleaned the boiling room. I felt refreshed and had a sense of accomplishment. At this time, my heart suddenly calmed down, as if I had a wish, otherwise there would always be a little insect gnawing and biting in my heart.

This little guy touched me a lot. He was sitting next to me. He was a man from Shaanxi and an ordinary person. But it was his conscious move that made me admire him. He silently inspired me: Kindness is an action, and action has power. We think but do not do, say but do not do, live in self-paralysis hypocrisy, and are always complacent and self-righteous. This is an evil hidden deep in our hearts.

If the person who makes the mistake is evil, then the person who sees the mistake and has the ability to correct it but does not take action has absolutely no connection with goodness. This can also be called hidden evil. Although no one knows, conscience understands.
