Conclusion是一篇essay正稿的結尾部分，在國內老師審閱論文看得最多的尚且是開頭和結尾，在國外當然也是如此。所以寫好introduction和conclusion部分至關重要。今天這篇文章英國翰思教育就來給大家說說三個層次「公式」讓essay conclusion部分錦上添花的的方法。
首先我們來看wiki中對於結論的定義：is an ending section which states the concluding findings and relevant recommendations for future Research.簡單來說就是，結論不僅要對整篇論文的所有研究結果（findings）進行總結概括還要有對未來進行展望，也就是要提到未來研究的方向。這樣泛泛的說是不是對conclusion的邏輯結構還是一頭霧水，不要緊下面我們就來看看它的完整框架：
一個好的conclusion應該包括以下三個部分：
①所有這篇文章提到的研究結論
②對於你所寫論文中提到的文獻（也就是literature review中文獻）的補充和發展
③本次研究的不足之處和改進方向。

結論第一層次內容
總結概括出你的研究問題（research questions）的研究結果是什麼，同時指出哪些學者/文獻與你的研究結論趨於一致，並且提醒讀者你是如何在discussion 部分中得到這些觀點的。
簡言之，這一部分就是對整篇論文主體（main body）部分的高度總結。

結論的第二層次內容
你的研究結論是否實現了你的研究目的，實現到什麼程度。以及你的研究發現對該領域有什麼重要意義或影響？例如通過你的研究開創了哪些可能性，或對於諸如政府組織，公司等一些組織機構的未來政策措施有什麼建議和貢獻。

結論的第三層次內容
找出並反思整篇論文中的局限性（limitations or weaknesses），這些limitations可能存在於你的整體分析方法中，也有可能是數據收集過程中造成的。在結論部分的最後還要提到在你將來的研究中要如何改進以及要如何克服這些limitations。
注意以下幾點：
1. 在總結研究結果時一定要提到所有結果
2. 結論中不應該包括任何新的數據或新的topic，如果你發現要有新的data或者topic，應該把它們放到論文主體的相關部分中去討論。
3. 同論文主體其他部分一樣，要與literature review相互呼應。
