The Chongyang Festival is celebrated on the ninth day of the ninth lunar month. It's also known as the Double Ninth Festival. In China, nine has the similar pronunciation with the word meaning forever. During that day, there are several traditional customs for people to follow.
重阳节是在阴历九月初九，又叫做"重九"。在中国，"九"和"久"发音相同。在那一天，民间会有好些个传统的习俗。

Eating Chongyang cake is another tradition at the festival. There are several kinds of Chongyang cake. The one with nine layers with two sheep on it is the best. Two sheep mean Chongyang, and nine layers show people could do well in everthing.

吃重阳糕是另一种传统。重阳糕形状各异。最为讲究的重阳糕要做成九层，像座宝塔，上面还做成两只小羊，以符合重阳（羊）之义，而九层则寓意人们百事俱高（糕），久久如意！
