NVIDIA has introduced some new features for Chrome users’ GeForce Now as Stadia fans grieve over the loss of Google’s own cloud streaming gaming platform.

When Stadia fans are grieving about losing Google's own cloud streaming gaming platform, NVIDIA has introduced some new features for GeForce Now for Chrome users. Starting today, any user account that subscribes to GeForce Now, which has a RTX 3080 tier, can stream their favorite PC games in Chrome at 1600p resolution and 120fps refresh rate, continuing to increase compared to the previous 1440p and 120fps upper limit.

This means that users with 2560 x 1600 resolution devices like the 2020 M1 MacBookAir will be able to play games in full screen in Chrome without having to be affected on resolution or frame rate .

RTX 3080 members can stream at 1600/120fps or 2160/60fps, NVIDIA's GeForce Now streaming platform's RTX 3080 tier was launched last year, which offers AI upgrades via DLSS and has a maximum streaming output of 4K resolution and HDR capabilities at 60fps. Purchasing a membership costs $19.99 per month, and the total price is $99.99 if the six-month prepayment is paid.

Currently in the GeForce Now library, there are about 1400 PC games to play, and new games often join the service. Here are 11 new games added to GeForce Now this week:

  • Asterigos: Curse of the Stars
