Google has been indifferent to the social media app Truth Social founded by former US President Texas Trump2 for the past few months due to concerns about content review. However, this app has finally passed the review of the Google Play Store and has been successfully launched.

Google spokesperson said in an email to foreign technology media CNET that the

application can be distributed on Google Play as long as it complies with our developer guidelines. This includes requirements to effectively review user-generated content and remove objectionable posts, such as those inciting violence.

Google All applications in the Play Store must effectively review user-generated content, including the ability of users to report content and delete or prevent abuse of users who violate the response policy. Google said Truth Social has agreed to enforce its policies, including removing any content that incites violence.

This came after Google contacted Truth Social on August 19, telling Trump Media and Technology Group (TMTG) that the app violated several standard policies and reiterated the need to audit user-generated content. “We are excited to be working with Google to help us ultimately bring Truth Social to all Americans, regardless of the device they use,” said Devin Nunes, CEO of

TMTG.

Truth Social was launched on the Samsung Galaxy Store last week, and users can also download it from the Truth Social website. The app has also been available in Apple's App Store since February.
