GSA said that US telecom software suppliers Mavenir, Keysight Technology and Private5GandLTE have become permanent members of the organization, and more members will be announced in the future. The goal of
GSA's SIG dedicated mobile network is to define an ecosystem, track that ecosystem, and promote its sustainable development, and support industry promotion.
According to GSA data, at least 889 institutions are deploying LTE or 5G dedicated mobile networks in one or more locations.
GSA said that so far, 66 mobile operators and organizations from 70 countries and regions have participated in the dedicated mobile network project. "The field of dedicated mobile networks is becoming increasingly powerful, and last year's compound growth rate reached 101%. The establishment of a new Special Interest Group on Dedicated Mobile Networks will bring this experience to the dedicated mobile networks field to accelerate its global development," said Joe Barrett, president of
GSA.
