Google says users will be able to use the Pixel 7 to trace back their Google Photos library and fix old blurred photos with a feature called Photo Unblur. So far, the feature is unique to Google's latest phones, similar to the Magic Eraser feature launched by the Pixel 6.

Like features designed to eliminate interference in images, Google's photos shown in its demos eliminate blur results are a bit unsatisfactory, but they are also impressive enough, like the ones in the tweet below. Like many of the features of the Pixel 7, the company says this image processing is implemented by its next-generation Tensor G2 processor.

The company also promised that the technology would be applied to photos taken by the Pixel 7, and said its denoising technology could "twice" the image shooting speed of its new phones in low light.

Google has been focusing on reducing blur in the Pixel series before; the Pixel 6 includes a feature called "Face Elimination" that uses multiple exposures to ensure the faces in the photos it takes, even if there is motion blur in other parts of the photo. Of course, in the Pixel 6 era, there was no effect on the photos taken in the past.
