Google Pixel 7 has just officially become the "cheap flagship" of Google in 2022. What new content? Tensor G2, updated camera and more, and the price is in line with last year's price. On paper, the Google Pixel 7 has a lot in common with the Pixel 6.

Google Pixel 7 is equipped with a 6.3-inch FHD display, which has a faster refresh rate than the more affordable phone or Apple 's iPhone 14. There is still an in-screen fingerprint sensor under the display, with a peak brightness of 1400 nit.
The latest Pixel Stand also has a charging speed of 21W wired charging and 20W wireless charging. But interestingly, the battery capacity dropped from the previous Pixel 6's 4600mAh to 4355mAh, and Google gave the model 128GB or 256GB of storage and 8GB of memory.

Google Tensor G2 will power the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. The new chip runs essentially the same core layout as the original Tensor, but uses a more efficient 4nm process. This should save some battery consumption and also perform slightly better.
Pixel 7 supports Wi-Fi 6E+, just in time for the newly released Nest Wifi Pro, Google also added support for the Pixel 7 for the built-in VPN provided by Google One, but it won't be available at release. Another major change to the

specification sheet is the camera, and the rear camera module still includes a 50-megapixel main camera and a 12-megapixel wide-angle camera, which is not available in the telephoto camera (5X telephoto appears in the Pro model). Supports "movie-like blur" in videos and supports 10-bit HDR videos. Google says the zoom feature has also been "enhanced" this year, but the Pixel 7 still has a 2x "optical" zoom, by cropping it with its 50-megapixel main camera, which can be 7x through digital zoom. The front camera has been remodeled and uses a new 10.8 megapixel sensor that can be unlocked using faces.
Pixel 7's face unlocking is achieved through software, rather than requiring additional sensors like the Pixel 4 series, nor handling "face recognition" like the iPhone. How this works in real life remains to be seen, but this is a project we have covered and Google has been working on it for a long time. It is worth noting that compared with previous models, the current selfie camera angle is also wider.

Google Pixel 7 will be equipped with Android 13 system, and like Pixel 6, it will receive three years of major version Android updates and five years of security updates.
From the hardware perspective, the Pixel 7 is slightly compact compared to the previous generation of products and has a slightly smaller bezel. It comes in three colors – snow, obsidian and lemongrass, and has a "satin metal border" to match the phone's color, rather than all models are black as we've seen on the Pixel 6. It also greatly reduces weight at 197 grams.
The price of Google Pixel 7 is $599, and it has no change compared to last year. The device will be sold in the same region as last year, but was added to Norwegian , Denmark , Swedish , Netherlands , India and Singapore . Major retailers such as Google Store and Best Buy start accepting pre-orders today, with delivery later this month.
