's famous open source network protocol analyzer Wireshark 4.0 has been released. Wireshark 4.0 introduces a more powerful display filter syntax, with many new extensions, redesigned transformations and endpoint dialogs, improved default main window layout, improved import of hex dumps, faster MaxMind geolocation processing, and various other improvements and fixes. The release of
Wireshark 4.0 also marks that the project has stopped providing 32-bit Windows programs.
