Recently, in the 9th International Indoor Positioning Navigation Competition, the participating team of the National Key Laboratory of Satellite Navigation of China Electronics Technology Network Communication Institute won the championship in the Fourth Track Challenge.
This competition is close to practical application scenarios, guided by solving practical problems, real sensor data is collected on the spot in Nantes, France, and without any layout and pre-mapping conditions, the competition goals are set for indoor emergency rescue applications. In response to the competition requirements, the participating team of the National Key Laboratory of Satellite Navigation of China Electronics Technology Network Communication Institute, based on the long-term accumulated indoor and outdoor continuous positioning algorithm and test data results, comprehensively considered the adaptive processing of navigation software and hardware, designed an innovative fusion method, overcame many technical difficulties, and achieved the goal of real-time continuous positioning performance in complex indoor and outdoor scenarios, winning the championship in one fell swoop. "Participating in the challenge is not only to verify technical achievements through the competition, but also to further promote the transformation of scientific research results and promote industrial application based on this." The team leader said.
This competition adopted the global synchronous online competition mode for the first time, showing the highest level in the field of indoor positioning and navigation in the international field, and attracted a total of 34 teams from all over the world to participate.
