So, what are the differences between Petal Travel compared to other aggregation taxi service platforms? After using it for a period of time, I will share with you my experience of using it.
Petal travel is a lightweight application built into the Hongmeng system. It does not require installation. Users can see it by searching for "Travel" or "Petal Travel" through the application market, negative screen, drop-down search bar and other entrances. In addition, you can also initiate a taxi order through the intelligent voice assistant "Xiaoyi" input: "Xiaoyi, Xiaoyi, I want to take a taxi". The extremely rich entrance selection in the system can be said to basically cover the usage habits of all users, and it also indirectly verifies Huawei's determination to promote Petal travel.
After entering Petal, you will find that the interface design of the application is simple and refreshing, and only provides the purest taxi checking, invoice management, common addresses and emergency contact settings and other related services. Compared with aggregation platforms such as Gaide , Baidu , Meituan , etc., the experience advantage is undoubtedly very obvious.
In addition to the refreshing interface, the price of Petal travel also has certain advantages compared to the above-mentioned platforms, which may be related to the platform being in the promotion period. If you are a user who needs to take a taxi every day when commuting, traveling to Petal can save a lot of money in one month.
Of course, compared with similar platforms, Petal Travel also has some areas that need to be improved. First of all, Huawei Pay is only supported. New users must first bind a bank card for the first order, and then open Huawei Pay or Huawei Pay to be used normally (but after various discounts are superimposed, the first order can save up to 13 yuan in fees, and users can enjoy invisible payment after the first order); it is not supported for the time being, such as WeChat, Alipay ; secondly, Petal Travel currently only connects to four online car-hailing suppliers, namely Shenzhou Travel, Sunshine Travel, T3 Travel, and Shouqi Car-hailing . But the above problems are all issues that can be easily improved.
After the order was officially launched, Petal Travel has some invisible experience advantages. For example, users can directly place Petal Travel service cards on the desktop or on the negative screen. If they upgrade the Hongmeng 3 system, they can view the process of online ride-hailing drivers without entering the application interface.
For example, Huawei previously developed a relatively complete travel solution, that is, it can intelligently recommend related services through the user's current itinerary, such as recommending hotels and taxi services through flights and high-speed rail information. Now that Huawei has its own Petal Travel, the card will automatically pop up when the user needs it, and take a taxi with one click. The entire experience is very coherent.
After experiencing it for a period of time, Petal Travel gave me the feeling that it is more like a service embedded in Hongmeng System 3 to solve user travel problems. It can collaborate with Huawei's full-scene intelligence to provide users with a more coherent experience.
In other words, although Petal Travel is not much different from the taxi service content provided by aggregational taxi platforms such as Gaode, Baidu, and Meituan, there are certain differences in the application experience and specific usage scenarios.
