According to the Commsupdates website on September 27, Brazilian ISP Brisantet plans to access a 2.3GHz 5G network by the end of 2023. The goal was disclosed by CEO Jose Roberto Noguera during a speech at the panel discussion for the Northeast event in Recife, Brazil. The network will initially be launched in northeastern cities with a population of less than 30,000. In the first quarter of 2023, the network will expand to medium-sized cities and connect to large cities in the region in the third quarter. However, Nogela noted that Brisantet will not deploy its 3.5GHz network until the price of compatible smartphones is lowered.

It is reported that the Ceara-based company received three 5G concessions in last year's multi-band spectrum auction: two 80MHz 3.5GHz licenses covering the northeast and the Midwest, and one 50m Hz 2.3 GHz spectrum zone covering the northeast.
