It is reported that the latest versions of WeChat iOS and Android have supported this function. After the user selects "Keep Chat History" and exits the group chat, the WeChat homepage will still retain the group chat entry.
After clicking to enter, you can view and find the chat history, but the message cannot be sent. The input box becomes a warning "Cannot send messages in the exited group chat"
However, the WeChat PC version still cannot keep the chat history when exiting the group chat, and the button still displays "Delete and exit".
