Kenji Diaries said he had "rising" his life to shoot in the allegedly unsafe building

He said: "When you see the roof of this place, you're really shocked."

"You'd think, what a horror movie is this," he said. "(I) risked my life to shoot the content."

In the video, he filmed a white building he described as "quite new" and walked down a "problematic" stairwell where a syringe was lying on the dirty floor.

"Thank goodness, I didn't step on it," he said.

"Just just passed here, you would think it was an industrial wasteland," he said as he was about to enter the building.

"It's moldy, the smell is so bad...How can this be done in a building like this? Who approved it? It's so bad." He said, pointing to a wet corridor covered with black mold.

He explained that the building was less than 10 years old and that this part of the residence does not seem to have enough drainage systems.

"I think the government needs to intervene and make sure the buildings comply with the appropriate standards," he wrote.

When another TikTok user suggested that the building might be an investment property, Kenju Diaries replied: "It's a limited lifespan investment - stay here for a few years and let others bear the consequences."

he added: "[The Great Australian Dream] seems to be disappearing little by little. Affordable housing needs to be the primary and central, but it doesn't."

According to Kenju Diaries, apartments are tiered in Australia.

"My point is that modern architecture should be reviewed by the government before approval," he added.

Kenju Diaries said he would not enter the building again without proper personal protective equipment.

Black mold may have potential hazards and toxicity.

The exact location or name of the building has not been announced yet.

It is not clear whether the building's property managers have dealt with mold or drainage issues since the video was released.
