Ten minutes walk west from Zhuxinzhuang Station on the Changping Line of the subway, and the tall steel structure building of the second phase of Xiaomi Smart Factory project is caught in your eyes. This project with 100% digital control of key manufacturing elements throughout the process will be built into an intelligent manufacturing demonstration factory and a world-class "lighthouse factory" in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. The total construction area of the project is 141,100 square meters, with a smartphone factory on the east side and a laboratory on the west side. Cai Dong, chief engineer of the

project, introduced that the basement of the project is composed of "anti-bucket"-shaped base plates with high and low surroundings, with a construction area of 18,000 square meters. It is not realistic to pour such a large area of bottom plate at one time. The project adopts the snatch method and construction. According to construction calculations, after adopting the snatch method, the project saves about 1 month of construction.

The project is positioned to create an intelligent industrial park that integrates all-in-one coverage of intelligent terminal equipment research and development, testing, production, release, application, demonstration, etc. and integrates multiple business formats. At present, all engineering projects are being steadily progressed, and Xiaomi Smart Factory (M1 Project) is expected to be delivered and put into use by the end of 2023.
