Amazon 21 announced the introduction of quantum computing into cloud services and established the AWS Quantum Network Center (CQN) to focus on long-term quantum computing research and hope to unleash the potential of quantum devices to form a quantum network. Amazon established a quantum computing center for Amazon Web Services (AWS) as early as last year, and made multiple investments to provide developers with IonQ, Oxford Quantum Circuits, Rigetti and D-Wave and other companies quantum computer hardware and software tool links permissions. AWS Quantum Network Center aims to promote quantum computer networking and related scientific engineering programs to build more powerful multi-processor computing networks and secure quantum communication networks. Quantum networks can connect single photons to quantum devices rather than through lasers. However, quantum mechanics and have limitations on single photons, limiting the application range of quantum networks. The AWS Quantum Computing Center focuses on scientific research projects such as qubits and error correction algorithms, focusing on long-term quantum computing research, hoping to unleash the potential of quantum devices to form quantum networks. Business Wire reports that AWS has joined Q-NEXT, a quantum research center composed of 13 companies, 10 universities, and 3 DOE national laboratories, which is developing science and technology to control and distribute quantum information to promote the development of quantum technology.
