According to the old people, there were many skilled masons in the past. They not only had profound knowledge of folk architectural art, but also had some special means of punishing and retaliating against cunning employers. Sometimes they would go too far, causing the other party's family to be destroyed.
"Once upon a time, Baijing Village , there was a man named Wu who built a three-eyed stone cave dwelling. After being introduced by someone, he invited a stonemason named Cao from Xiyang. Because Mr. Wu was a stingy and unkind miser, he attracted the attention of Master Cao.

The rich man Wu gave the master craftsmen a ration of rice. In the morning, each person had a small bowl of radish soup and two small bowls of hollow jade and wild rice noodles. First, although I ate "Lola rice black miscellaneous noodles" in the evening, there were only a few noodles, so I only gave him a small spoonful of rice. The craftsmen worked for him hungry, so they complained constantly, and Craftsman Cao was even more angry.
Xiyang has always been a prosperous place. The craftsmen worked for the people, not only taking care of their food and drink, but also giving them meat and vegetables as a reward every three days. How have they ever been treated like this by Rich Master Wu? So Stonemason Cao secretly planned to take revenge on Rich Master Wu after the work was completed.

They swallowed their anger and finally built the three cave dwellings like tigers, which were stable and dignified. Once inside, they were spacious, tall and bright, and the front wall was covered with bluestone with seams, making it comfortable and pleasing to the eye. After looking at it, Mr. Wu naturally couldn't find anything wrong with it.
At this moment, after Cao Shimai settled his wages, he and his two apprentices drove away from Nanshan. When they walked out of Baijing Village and reached the high hillock of Wujiafeng At that time, Mason Cao was facing the northeast, looking at the three new kilns they had just built in the village from a distance, and squatted down to take a rest and smoke. The apprentices were a little puzzled and urged the master to hurry up. The master said: "If you look at the three-eye kiln we built, something will happen soon." The disciples were all looking at the cave dwellings. After a while, the cave to the west collapsed suddenly, and a puff of yellow smoke was rolled up by a northwest wind.

Master said: "Okay, let's go. "On the way, the disciples asked the master: "How come only one of these beautiful kilns collapsed? Master, we have to run quickly. What if Mr. Wu sends someone to catch up with us?
Master said: "They will never catch up with us. If they want to chase us, they will chase us along the highway. How do they know that we are driving away on the mountain?" Moreover, this project was personally inspected by Mr. Wu. According to the rules, if anything happens after the inspection, we will not be responsible for anything. Master did this kind of thing only as a last resort. Even if he is punished a little for his cunning, let him never dare to look down on others again!

The disciples asked: "Master, the disciples don't understand. We didn't build it well for others, so how could it collapse?" The master said: "You don't understand this. The first key to this kiln is to look at the base legs. Once these legs are built, they will carry huge pedaling force." The second key is that the roundness of the cow should be moderate and the top should be slightly pointed, so that the weight can be skillfully transferred to the wall legs. The master has worked as a stonemason all his life, and he knows the secrets here clearly. If you want the stone kiln to be stable and strong, you must transfer the weight of the top evenly to every part of the wall legs.
But if I want to focus the pressure at the top on a certain point, I can focus on a certain point. When I was building the wall pier, I intentionally used large, flat stones on the west leg of the main kiln, so when the west kiln collapsed, the main kiln was safe. When I was building the west kiln, I concentrated the top weight on a point in front of the west gable wall, and used a circular support to support a wall stone.

Don’t you remember that before we left, I went to the west gable wall to relieve myself? In fact, I used a small iron rod to lift the round branch out to the edge of the stone seam. In my estimation, when we left the village and walked far away, the western kiln would have collapsed. Look, it collapsed! The disciples were surprised and said: "Master, it turns out this is what happened."But if we do this, it would be too damaging, right?
The master said: "Although we earn a living by doing hard labor, we can't let others look down upon us." A miser like Mr. Wu has a huge family fortune, but he is reluctant to give us enough to eat. To him, ruining his kiln is just a small loss, and it does not harm the overall situation. But it can make him remember to be kind to others in the future. This is the purpose of Master! "
