He was thirty-nine years old at the time. Before Yue Fei was killed, he wrote eight last words in Fengbo Pavilion: "The sky is clear, the sky is clear." Yue Fei's general Zhang Xian and his son Yue Yun were also cut in half in the market. In 2002, Fengbo Pavilion was rebuilt and the filial well in memory of Yue Fei's daughter Yue Yinping was restored. Fengbo Pavilion is a two-story pavilion with octagonal eaves pointing to the sky, black tiles, and an orange pavilion body.
