Beijing time on November 28th, the Cavaliers officially announced that they will complete the deal with the Jazz and exchange part of the cash for shooting guard Lajun Tucker and a future second-round pick.
The 23-year-old Tucker lost the draft last year. He first signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Bucks, and then was waived. In the end, the Jazz signed him with a two-year salary contract, of which the second year is part of the guarantee.
Last season, Tucker played a total of 20 times, averaging 8.1 minutes of playing time, 3.1 points and 1 rebound, shooting 46.5%. For more time, Tucker spent in the Development League and was elected the Player of the Month in the Development League in December.
Tucker is most praised for his excellent athletic ability. Jazz star Donovan Mitchell once commented on him: "He jumps higher than me, that's for sure." You know, Mitchell. But he won the NBA Dunk Contest at a height of 1.85 meters.
