Irish promoter and International Boxing Hall of Fame member Barry McGuigan pointed out that WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury may not be the boxer he used to be. McGuigan believes that this situation may lay hidden dangers for Fury to fight Oleiko Sander-Usyk.
The battle between Fury and Usyk is expected to take place in March next year. The winner will become the first overlord in his category to simultaneously hold the titles of the four major boxing organizations. Fury TKOed Derek Chisora three times this month, and Usyk defeated Anthony Joshua again in August this year.
Regarding the Fury VS Usyk battle, the outside world is still slightly optimistic about Fury, believing that he has a greater physical advantage, but McGuigan feels that Fury will not rule out an upset defeat because Usyk is stronger than imagined.
