From this day on, this was the first weightlifter to break the world record and the first to win the Olympic weightlifting gold medal. The "hometown of weightlifting" for athletes has been given a new mission - to build a "home" for weightlifters all over the world. As Zhou Jinqiang, director of the Weightlifting and Wrestling Center of the General Administration of Sport of China and chairman of the China Weightlifting Association, said: "Placing the museum in the birthplace of the first (world champion) is to pass on the spirit of weightlifting. Together with the leaders of the competent industry departments, 3,278 pieces (sets) of various weightlifting collections have been collected.
