After the winter solstice, we are one step closer to the colder "March 9th and 49th". It can be said that we have entered the second half of winter. Temperatures continue to be low, making it increasingly difficult to catch fish. When fishing in the cold winter, don’t go out blindly. You must watch the timing right, otherwise you won’t be able to catch fish and you will be blown by the cold wind. It is still recommended to fish in cloudy days, foggy days, before snow and other continuous and stable weather conditions. In cold winter wild fishing, "bait" becomes extremely important. If you want to catch fish, you must have fish in the nest. If you want to catch more fish, you have to keep making nests.

1. Lure
If you want to lure fish into the nest, finding the fish nest is the first step, because the lower the temperature, the smaller the range of fish activities will be, and it becomes difficult to make a nest if the location of the nest is not correct. In other words, if you want to make a nest, there must be a school of fish around the place where you make the nest, so you need to find the right fish nest first. At this time, the fish nest is in deep water, because deep water can be stable at about 4 degrees. When looking for fish nests in deep water, you must first choose a relatively narrow water surface, otherwise it will still be difficult to find the fish nest. It is recommended to look for dark grass, reeds, near bridge piers, places with ditches and pits under water, and under gentle slopes facing the sun. These places have special topography in deep water and are closely related to "food distribution".

Whether the nest material is appropriate will also affect the quality and speed of the nest. If you are fishing for nests with obstacles in still water, you don’t actually need to use wine rice at all. Just use the bottom nest maker and use powdered nest materials. For example, using fried soybean flour as nest material, after making the nest, sinks into the gaps between aquatic plants, between rocks, and at the roots of reed bushes, which can have a continuous effect of luring fish. It is recommended to adopt the method of multiple nests to ensure that at least there are nests that can produce nests, and to make up for the lack of accurate fish nests. The area for making nests should be as small as possible. If nests can be made, the distribution of fish will be more concentrated, which will help improve the efficiency of catching fish. You can also go out as early as possible, because the time for nesting is getting slower and slower, and nesting earlier will also help with nesting.

2. Fishing
Fishing method is very important. Because fish hide in deep water, the fishing method that can accurately reach the fish nest is a more suitable fishing method. Therefore, the lower the temperature, the less likely fish are to move, and the advantage of a long pole will be greater. You can hold the fishing rod to accurately hook the hook to the nest, and you can tease the fish, so the long rod and short line fishing method is the best choice. According to the different characteristics of the fishing spots, different line groups are used. In open water fishing spots such as fishing slopes and underwater ditches and pits, you can use a vertical floating single-hook fishing group. In order to improve the sensitivity of the fishing group, you can also use the high-low falling fishing method. If you are fishing for underwater stone crevices, dark grass, reeds and other dens that are not suitable for vertical floating fishing groups, you can use the seven-star floating fishing group. Because fishing for obstacles is also a relatively deep obstacle, and the biggest disadvantage of the seven-star float is that it is not suitable for fishing dens exceeding 2 meters. You can also use double lead to make the seven-star float fishing group more suitable for fishing in deep water.

Bait is also critical. Suitable bait can ensure that fish bite the hook faster. Regarding the bait used for winter fishing, there is a saying of "thick, small and lively". If flour bait is used, the flavor must be strong. No matter what bait is used, pay attention to the size of the bait ball. Otherwise, it is easy for the fish to be unable to eat the bait due to the small opening width and weak sucking force of the bait. As for "live", it means using live bait for fishing. There is a folk saying that "one worm is worth a hundred baits". The lower the temperature, the more important dynamics are for fishing crucian carp , especially for traditional fishing, it is more suitable to use red worms as bait. If the crucian carp is not large, you can directly hook it to tease it. If there is a larger crucian carp, you can tie the red worms with red thread. The advantage of hanging the bait in this way is that the red worms are always in a live and wriggling state. The disadvantage is that if the crucian carp is not large, it will be very difficult to bait.

Don’t catch all the fish in the dens, so that the dens can always be properly raised, and let the crucian carp in the dens and food attract other crucian carp into the nests. This is the key to the dens continuing to build nests. Leaving the nest does not mean leaving the nest without eloquence, but catching a few fish to replenish the nest and then moving to the next one. As for replenishing the nest, it is also not about replenishing the nest after losing the mouth. Please pay attention, collect and like, it will be updated on time every day, thank you fishing friends!
