2022 World Skills Competition Special Competition officially ended on November 27 in Salzburg, Austria. At the closing ceremony, eight Chinese contestants wore national flags to the podium, bringing a perfect end to this year's schedule
Austrian competition area officially started on November 24, setting up seven projects: electrical installations, masonry, concrete construction, industrial control, chemical laboratory technology, heavy vehicle maintenance and freight forwarding, attracting a total of 100 contestants from 38 countries and regions to participate. After fierce competition, Chinese athletes stood out in all seven events they participated in, winning 6 gold medals and 1 bronze medal.
3 Zhu Ke from Shanghai Second University of Technology , Jiang Xinhua from Ningbo Technician College , and Jiang Yuhe from Henan Chemical Technician College won gold medals in freight forwarding project, heavy vehicle maintenance project, and chemical laboratory technology project respectively, which made the Chinese team achieve a "zero" breakthrough in gold medals in these three projects. Wu Yuanzhou from the Advanced Technical School of China Construction Fifth Bureau won the gold medal in the masonry project, achieving the Chinese team's three consecutive championships in this project.

World Skills Competition is known as "World Skills Olympic ", and its competitive level represents the world's advanced level of today's professional skills development. This year's competition has a total of 62 events and is held in 15 countries from September to November. The Chinese delegation won 21 gold medals, 3 silver medals, 4 bronze medals and 5 winning awards in 34 events it participated in, ranking first in the gold medal list. The total number of gold medals has set a new record in the history of a single competition, demonstrating the pragmatic, hard-working, persevering and meticulous craftsman spirit of the young generation of China.
Chinese team achieved a breakthrough in gold medals or medals in multiple events in this year's World Skills Competition Special Competition, winning gold for the first time in projects such as beauty, furniture production, freight forwarding, heavy vehicle maintenance, chemical laboratory technology, plastering and partition system, and winning medals for the first time in projects such as website design and development.
