In the men's synchronized 10-meter platform final that ended later, Lian Junjie / Yang Hao led the way and won the gold medal with 467.79 points. So far, all four gold medals in the diving event have been won by the Chinese team.

The Chinese diving team has always been known as the " dream team ". At last year's Tokyo Olympics, they won 7 gold medals and 5 silver medals. They were only short of winning all the gold medals in the men's synchronized 10-meter platform event. After the Olympic Games, veterans such as Shi Tingmao and Wang Han chose to retire, but the Chinese diving team still has Olympic champions such as Cao Yuan and Quan Hongchan.
