According to scientists' research, human health around the world is at the mercy of oil. As the climate crisis intensifies, extreme heat waves, hunger and infectious diseases are becoming more and more frequent. The government, however, continues to provide more subsidies to the oil industry rather than to poorer countries suffering from global warming. This is simply incredible!

Fire caused by high temperature

Climate crisis has intensified, and the food, energy, and cost of living crises. In 2021 alone, due to the extreme high temperatures, the world has reduced its working hours by 50 million. If it is converted into eight hours a day, it will be 6.25 million working days. Therefore, not only those farmers affected by the high temperature lost a large amount of income, but food was also in short supply.

The advice given by scientists is that if we deal with problems such as global warming with health as the core principle, we can not only save millions of lives every year, but also make them live better. And it's not just about to survive.

The recent report published by the Lancet Health and Climate Change Countdown Group has an impressive title - "Health Stressed by Oil". It was produced by nearly 100 experts from 51 institutions across continents and was presented at the UN Cop27 Climate Summit held in Egypt .

United Nations Secretary-General-Guterres

United Nations Secretary-General said after seeing this report, "Climate change is killing us." In the face of air pollution, food safety, infectious diseases, high temperatures, droughts and floods, we are a community with the earth. As oil dependence increases, human health, livelihoods, household budgets and national economies are taking a hit.

In fact, if our large-scale common sense investment in renewable energy and climate resilience will ensure that people in every country live healthier and safer lives.
