I don’t know when it started. Human beings are always eager to leave the earth and go to other planets in outer space to survive, even if the living conditions of other planets are not necessarily better than those of the earth. But out of human curiosity and the fact that humans have been living on Earth for quite a long time, humans want to know what other planets in outer space look like and how far have other civilizations in the universe developed?

If time goes back one or two decades, human beings may not be so urgent. However, with the rapid development of human civilization and the lack of knowing how to protect the earth's ecological environment, human beings have fallen into a vicious cycle. They want to protect the earth but are hurting the earth. If humans do not quickly get out of this predicament, they may end up getting caught in it. But human beings will definitely not want the civilization they develop to be destroyed! The best way is definitely to find other planets to survive and live.

So far, scientists have actually screened out many planets that are very similar to the earth's environment. But almost all because of the distance from the earth, humans can only watch from a distance and cannot do anything further. The only planet that humans can touch may be Mars , which is also in the solar system. However, even if humans want to move to Mars, it is not a simple project. At least Mars must be transformed into another earth in order to allow humans to move to Mars to survive. This is obviously a big project.

At midnight on July 24, 2015, NASA held a media conference call to announce the latest discovery of the Kepler Space Telescope : Astronomers said that the exoplanet , which is closest to "another earth" to date, is discovered. The planet is named Kepler 452b. The similarity index to the earth is 0.98. It is the closest to the earth to the "twin planet" discovered so far, with an atmosphere and flowing water.

The reason why this star is called Kepler-452b means that in the Kepler Plan system, the planet closest to this star, is currently the planet closest to the star. Here, b, is the letters sorted from the far and near the star, and is arranged in sequence, such as b, c, d, e, f, etc. (a refers to the star itself). For example, Kepler 186f, which was discovered earlier, means the fifth farther planet in the 186 star system, .

So when scientists discovered the planet Kepler 452b, they were quite surprised. Because the environment of this planet is very similar to that of the earth, and is even more habitable than the earth. The Kepler 452b planet is also in the habitable zone of its main star. Although it is not as strong as the light on Earth, it is also quite mild and not stimulating. It has 385 days and nights a year, and Kepler 452b also has a thick atmosphere and a complete set of water circulation systems on Kepler 452b. This has almost made scientists decide the future. If humans are allowed to move to other planets to survive, Kepler 452b is definitely the most worth living.

There have been five "biological extinctions" events in the history of the earth. Each time there are a large number of life extinctions, but soon life on Earth regains vitality and quickly replenishes the entire food chain. Therefore, many scientists believe that the resilience of life may be far beyond our imagination, so that a magical theory such as the "anthropic principle" is extended. This theory believes that the universe is more inclined to evolve towards the state of birth of carbon-based life.

It may be for this reason that this scientist believes that life exists on this planet 100%, because this planet is the conclusive evidence of the first habitable planet and one of the most similar planets to Earth discovered by humans. We can call it the "Second Earth". If a planet that is very similar to the Earth has a relatively suitable temperature and sufficient liquid water, the probability of this planet giving birth to life is much higher.

However, before the scientists were excited for a while, the scientists regretfully said that this planet may not be able to live, even though Kepler 452b is 1,400 light years away from the earth. But this is not necessarily a completely unsurpassable distance. As long as humans find a wormhole, humans still have the chance to land on this planet. But what makes scientists feel desperate is that since this planet is so livable. Wouldn't life be nurtured like the earth? Even if not, wouldn’t it be targeted by other high-level civilized stars?

It seems that humans want to find extraterrestrial civilizations, and the path to -type earth planets is still quite long. I believe that humans will move more steadily step by step and will eventually be able to move to other planets to survive!

However, this is just some speculations from scientists. Although this planet is very suitable for human habitation, its distance is still relatively far, which is a height that human technology cannot reach now. So we can only hope that human science and technology can develop better in the future and allow humans to explore!
