1. DARPA seeks to develop "third wave" artificial intelligence theory and application technology
third wave Artificial intelligence technology will solve the limitations of the "first wave" (rule-based artificial intelligence) and "second wave" (artificial intelligence based on statistical learning), enabling machines to adapt to changing environments. DARPA issued a special announcement on March 24, seeking pixel intelligent processing (IP2) technology to improve the accuracy and usability of video image recognition algorithms. IP2 technology is designed to solve two key problems of embedding artificial intelligence into sensor edge devices: data complexity and the realization of accurate, low-latency and low-power artificial intelligence algorithms. Researchers will focus on processing individual pixels to reduce data complexity, make the back-end processing more efficient and keep the data undistorted. This artificial intelligence solution will be tested using the self-driving vehicle dataset of the University of California at Berkeley. (United States, "Defense One")

2, British Army is developing robotic and autonomous system of long-term strategic
The strategy will serve as An important part of the transformation and modernization plan in the "British Defense Command Document", its core idea is to create combat advantages for ground forces by integrating robots and autonomous systems (RAS) in human-machine formations (HMT). Lamont, who is in charge of RAS in the British Army, divides the future development of HMT into three stages: 2025 is the initial delivery stage, and the Army seeks to deliver a light brigade with RAS capabilities; 2025 to 2030 is the development stage, and the Army seeks to develop one. Strike brigade with integrated RAS capability; 2030-2035 is the research phase,The Army seeks to broadly integrate RAS capabilities in divisional units. RAS is one of the Army's four major research and development themes. The other three themes are artificial intelligence and machine learning, electrification, and networked sensors and effectors. The United Kingdom is currently studying how to integrate these four themes into a force concept, and then form an executable force plan, so that the Army can conduct operations in different ways. 3, US Department of Defense and the land, sea and air force and actively promote cloud services
current US Department of Defense "United universal basic artificial intelligence" (JCF) The platform already has "initial combat capability" and will be upgraded to achieve "comprehensive combat capability", thereby accelerating the development of artificial intelligence in the Ministry of National Defense. JCF aims to lower the barriers to artificial intelligence applications by providing a safe test bed that allows users to share data sets, training data, and algorithms across national defense ministries. The U.S. Navy has migrated related mission resources from the Navy's data center to the "Amazon" service platform. In the future, it will accelerate the permanent migration of office efficiency and collaboration tools to the commercial cloud environment through the "Top Speed Operation" plan. The U.S. Air Force and Space Force will formulate policies to improve the readability and availability of data, and accelerate the implementation of future cloud plans. The US Army has begun to provide cloud services for soldiers at the tactical level, migrating applications used in the command post to a distributed cloud environment, and building a tactical cloud architecture. The goal of the US Army in the next two years is to refactor the mission command application to work in a hybrid cloud environment; integrate a variety of commercial clouds and private tactical clouds to provide battlefield intelligence and data integration. 5, US Navy submarines will be deployed "black wing" 10C UAV
US Department of Defense has selected US company AeroVironment for the Navy with 120 The "Black Wing" 10C UAV with photoelectric sensors to support the U.S. Navy’s "Submarine Launched UAV System" program. The "Black Wing" 10C UAV will be deployed on naval submarines, capable of flying beyond the visual range for at least one hour, using variable bandwidth to encrypt data links. In addition, US Navy experts also discussed the use of drones to provide supplies to submarines, and tested a platform through which large quadrotor drones can deliver small payloads to submarines that surfaced. 6, the United States developed to convert the radio waves into electrical energy new technology
Recently, the Pennsylvania State University developed a radio from The method of obtaining energy in the wave can power wearable devices. The core of the new method is a stretchable high-frequency dipole antenna system consisting of two stretchable metal antennas integrated on a conductive graphene substrate with a metal coating. The system is connected with a rectifier circuit to form a rectifier antenna, which can convert the energy of electromagnetic waves into electrical energy to supply power to wireless devices or charge energy storage devices. This new method has the advantage of sustainable electricity consumption and is expected to be applied in any field that requires electricity. (American physicist organization's website)

9, Russia 3 nuclear submarine surfaced for the first time in the Arctic to break ice at the same time
On March 26, the commander-in-chief of the Russian navy, General Yevmenov, reported to President Putin that three Russian nuclear submarines surfaced for the first time during the Arctic exercise. On the surface of the water, the maximum distance between submarines is 300 meters. Kravchenko, the former chief of the general staff of the Navy, believes that this shows that the Russian submarine force is capable of firing multiple ballistic missiles at the same time while maintaining maximum concealment.
Russia is carrying out a comprehensive Arctic expedition called "White Bear-2021". This exercise is part of the expedition. This is the first time that Russia has conducted a series of combat training, scientific research and various practical activities in the subpolar region.A total of more than 600 military and civilian personnel participated in the inspection, and about 200 weapons and special equipment were used. At present, the average temperature in the area is minus 25-30°C, the ice layer is 1.5 meters thick, and the wind speed is 32 meters per second. (Russia Tass website)
