On the afternoon of September 1, the United Front Work Department of the Dazhou Municipal Party Committee held an epidemic prevention and control work deployment meeting. The meeting conveyed and studied the "Emergency Notice of the Office of the Dazhou City Emergency Headquarters in Response to the New Coronavirus Pneumonia Epidemic on Further Improving the Current Epidemic Prevention and Control Work" and the spirit of the Municipal Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters Epidemic Prevention Emergency Dispatch Meeting, and studied and deployed the city's united front epidemic prevention and control Work. Wang Weicheng, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee, Minister of the United Front Work Department, and Chairman of the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech.
The meeting pointed out that the domestic epidemic situation is still complex and severe in the near future, with many places in the province reporting spillover infections from outside the province, and the prevention and control work is facing a huge test, and there is no room for any slackness. We must conscientiously study and understand and implement the spirit of relevant meetings on epidemic prevention and control to the letter, clearly understand the current epidemic prevention and control situation, remain highly alert at all times, resolutely overcome paralyzing thoughts, adhere to scientific and accurate dynamic prevention and control, and firmly guard the epidemic prevention and control position.
The meeting requested that firstly, the responsibilities of all parties in epidemic prevention and control should be further consolidated. All departments (units) should conscientiously perform their duties and responsibilities, strengthen social publicity and guidance of epidemic prevention and control policies and knowledge, and play a good role as a magic weapon for united front, Guide the public to obey organizational management and abide by epidemic prevention and control order. The second is to further strengthen the screening and control of risk personnel. In accordance with the spirit of the epidemic prevention emergency dispatch meeting of the Municipal Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters, strict inspection and strict management of people arriving from outside (returning) to the city are strictly implemented. "Control", effectively guard the entry and exit points, and resolutely guard the bottom line of preventing large-scale imports, community transmission and clusters of epidemics. Third, the city's united front system must set an example and implement it, take the lead in building a solid defense line for epidemic prevention and control, guard the online public opinion position, do not believe in rumors, do not create rumors, and do not spread rumors, so as to create a clean and upright epidemic prevention and control network environment. All democratic parties, federations of industry and commerce, federations of intellectuals, and new federations of the Chinese Communist Party should strengthen mobilization and publicity for epidemic prevention and control, encourage United Front members to actively participate in the front line of epidemic prevention and control, and fight the epidemic together.
