In order to further promote the payment work of DRG in our city and improve the response and decision-making capabilities of designated medical institutions under the new payment methods, the Municipal Medical Insurance Center held a DRG payment business training meeting on September 29, 2022. The Medical Service Office of the Municipal Medical Insurance Bureau, the Director of the Municipal Medical Insurance Center, relevant business departments, medical insurance branches and branch centers in the municipal districts, and 44 DRG paid medical institutions attended the meeting.

At the morning, the Municipal Medical Insurance Center first reported the DRG payment operation from January to July 2022, mainly including the DRG settlement rules, the payment situation and related indicators of each hospital from January to July, existing problems and next work plan; secondly, the third-party company introduced the differences between the new DRG system and the original Ping An DRG system in terms of data collection, coding version, quality control process and grouping results, and reported in detail the quality, grouping and settlement status of the settlement list during the simulation operation of 44 paid hospitals.

In the afternoon, two DRG paid experts gave online lectures on DRG concepts and how hospitals were managed. First, Professor Li Chengwan talked about "Refined Hospital Management Based on DRGs-PPS", and secondly, Professor Yuan Guangbo talked about "Practical Sharing of DRG Hospital Management".

Finally, the participants exchanged opinions, and 44 medical institutions put forward opinions and suggestions on group optimization of disease group, quality control settlement process, etc. Director Wang Xifeng of the Municipal Medical Insurance pointed out that in the next step, our city will do a good job in expanding the scope of DRG and re-grouping demonstration.
