After investigation, it was found that 15 farmers did not complete environmental impact assessment procedures and obtained pollution discharge permit , and directly discharged the feces and sewage generated from the breeding into the ditches outside the pig farm, seriously affecting the production and life of the surrounding people. The Yunxi District Procuratorate of Yueyang City has successively issued prosecutorial recommendations to urge the Yueyang Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau and the Yunxi District Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Bureau to fully perform their duties in accordance with the law and carry out harmless treatment of dead pigs.
