At 3:55 am on October 26, the X8155 China-Europe Express was loaded with 50 vehicles. photovoltaic inverter , electric compressor, vacuum cleaner and other household appliances and accessories cargo slowly drove out from the Xi'an International Port Station of China Railway Xi'an Bureau Group Co., Ltd., departed through the Alashankou port, and headed west to Europe. It will arrive in Duisburg, Germany at 3:00 am on November 5, marking the smooth launch of the first domestic and overseas schedule of the China-Europe Express (Xi'an).
In order to promote the formation of a stable domestic and foreign transportation timelines, better meet customers' logistics needs, and further improve the quality of China-Europe freight trains, China National Railway Group Co., Ltd. and the railway departments of the countries along the China-Europe freight trains have been determined to organize the full schedule of domestic and foreign trains in October this year. Xi'an International Port Station is one of the important stations for the launch of China-Europe freight trains in the country and is listed as the starting station of the first train.
China-Europe freight trains from China to European countries must pass railways with different gauges in different countries. The entire journey of the China-Europe freight train can be divided into Chinese section, wide rail section, and European section. When the China-Europe freight train arrives at all border ports, it must be replaced by trains that can be operated by the national railway. Because there were no requirements and restrictions for running time during the installation operation in the past, there would be more invalid stay time and it would not be possible to achieve rapid and smooth handover. After the China-Europe freight train is launched at home and abroad, the operation time of each link of the China-Europe freight train is effectively controlled through the connection of the railway freight train schedules of various rules, eliminating the invalid stay time when the port station handles the train replacement, thereby effectively improving the transportation time and improving the quality of the China-Europe freight train throughout the journey and the market competitiveness of the China-Europe freight train.
As of now, the China-Europe Express (Xi'an) has launched 3,502 trains in 2022.
