This is a fourteen-year Anti-Japanese War , which is the most humiliating history of the Chinese nation and the most painful memory of the Chinese people.
Liaoning Fushun Pingdingshan Massacre, Nanjing Massacre, Panjiayu Massacre, , Pingyang Massacre, Panjia Daizhuang Massacre, ... Countless painful memories attacked the surviving Chinese people when they dreamed of countless midnights. Until the end of the War of Resistance Against Japan, many people were still deeply trapped in it and had to accept psychological healing.
What do the Japanese think of these cruel history?
Figure 1
Did
"wake up" lead him into the Anti-Japanese War Hall, or did "pain and regret" lead him to write those two Chinese characters? The reason behind is curious. Can his arrival become a bond to establish peace between China and Japan?
Koizumi visited China and first went to Lugou Bridge
On October 8, 2001, a special visitor was welcomed in the "Memorial Hall of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression". He is different from other tourists because he is a Japanese.
As we all know, the "Memorial Hall of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression" was established in our country to commemorate countless innocent citizens who died in the Nanjing Massacre. The inscription in front of the memorial hall was kept by Comrade Xiaoping's writing. It carries the beliefs of countless heroic souls that died due to the Japanese massacre. They gather here and remind the Chinese people at all times - Don't forget the national humiliation and remember the history .
Figure 2
And this Japanese who came to visit naturally seemed particularly prominent. Most importantly, his identity is not simple. He was the Prime Minister of Japan at that time and was the one who had the longest position as Prime Minister. He was Koizumi Junichiro .
On October 8, he immediately rushed to Lugou Bridge as soon as he got off the plane, which was also the place where the July 7 Incident occurred in history.
On July 7, 1937, the Japanese fascists rushed into the city using the excuse of missing soldiers, burning, killing and looting the city, but still spoke righteously. After that, a full-scale war of resistance broke out. The battle of Songhu , Changsha , and Xuefengshan are still vivid in my mind. It was not until the Chinese soldiers defeated the invaders that Japan surrendered unconditionally in 1945. At this point, the fourteen years of national resistance to the whole nation has officially come to an end.
So Junichiro Koizumi's trip also attracted widespread attention from all walks of life. At 11 noon that day, the central government sent the Chinese ambassador to Japan to accompany Koizumi to the " Lugou Xiaoyue " stone tablet in Lugou Bridge, Beijing.
Figure 3
Koizumi stood in front of the stone tablet for a long time. No one knew what he was thinking, but on his face, we didn't see a trace of grief.
At 12:10 noon, Koizumi and her group arrived at the Memorial Hall of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. In front of the memorial hall, Koizumi stopped. He raised his head and looked at the line of Chinese characters, thinking about something.
Then they came to the front of the "Flesh and Blood Great Wall", which is a picture composed of six giant reliefs of the Anti-Japanese War. The picture shows the "Great Wall" formed by the people of Nanjing blocking the Japanese army with their flesh and blood during the Nanjing Massacre. They were all covered in blood, but they still hid the elderly, weak, women and children under their bodies, vowing to protect Nanjing with their own strength!
Figure 4
Such a picture is enough to shock people. Many people have presented white wreaths here, and Koizumi is no exception. The wreath he presented was more than one meter high, and it also read "Pray for permanent peace and friendship for generations."
Let me ask you, have you never prayed for such a desire at that time? But who let them go?
Despite this, world peace is still what we are pursuing and hoping for now, but it does not mean that we are the nation that can bully at will.
Koizumi personally laid the wreath firmly and bowed deeply in front of the relief, as if he was paying silence for the Chinese people who died in Japan's war of aggression against China. Such a picture made many Chinese tourists feel a little comforted.
Figure 5
Afterwards, Koizumi went to the comprehensive hall in the memorial hall for a visit. Director Chen Qigang introduced the entire process of September 18th Incident to him, but Koizumi was silent and did not give any response.
Then they came to the Japanese atrocities hall that exposed the crimes of the Japanese invasion of China. Above a "blood wall", there were countless cruel scenes of the Nanjing Massacres posted. There are Chinese civilians buried alive by the Japanese army, comfort women who are not seeing the light of day, ordinary workers who are tortured, terrifying scenes of bacterial warfare and poison gas warfare and , and the two Japanese soldiers who show off their power in the "killing competition".
Koizumi looked at these photos with a solemn expression and never said a word. It was not until he saw the four big words written by former Prime Minister Murayama Toshichi during his visit to China - " Face History ", that his expression was moved.
The motivation for visiting China is not pure
In fact, before visiting China, Koizumi had just taken office as the Prime Minister of Japan for a few months. So why was he so anxious to visit China?
In 2001, Koizumi's former prime minister Mori Kiro was kicked off the stage for his mistakes due to his words and deeds less than a year after taking office. Koizumi, who was 59 at the time, successfully ascended the position of Prime Minister with his "extraordinary" ability and officially took office as the 87th Prime Minister of Japan on April 26, 2001.
Figure 6
However, before taking office, in order to obtain super high public support, Koizumi promised the public that as long as he was successfully elected as prime minister, he would visit the Yasukuni Shrine on August 15.
Yasukuni Shrine is the real name of "Soul Club". It was built by more than 3,500 samurai who died in during the Meiji Restoration period.
It was not until 1879 that Emperor Meiji entrusted all the soldiers who died in the battle in the 1895 war, Russo-Japanese War, , and World War I and II, and renamed them to Yasukuni Shrine.
Figure 7
Then in 1978, 14 World War II Class A war criminals, including Tojo Hideki , were also enshrined here. As soon as this move was made, it immediately suffered strong dissatisfaction from China, South Korea and other countries, so the Yasukuni Shrine also became an unacceptable existence in our country.
As for Koizumi's promise to visit the Yasukuni Shrine on Japan's so-called "End of War" (August 15), it naturally aroused great anger from China, South Korea and other countries.
August 15 is the day of Japan's unconditional surrender, but they call it "The End of War Day". Koizumi even wants to visit the war criminals on this day, which is really infuriating!
Figure 8
However, in the end, Koizumi was successfully elected. While facing the anger and pressure from various countries, he finally chose to visit the Yasukuni Shrine two days in advance, that is, on August 13, which has also become one of the reasons why our country is angry with him.
Immediately afterwards, within a few months after he came to power, the Japanese government gave the green light to the "composition meeting" with only 0.04% pass rate in previous years. tampered with history textbooks, and the "war of aggression against China" was beautified as the "Japanese-China War". The invasion of China was also exaggerated as helping China improve its economy. Even defeated and surrendered was called "end war."
. Such textbooks are called "New History of Japan" and are used for extensive study by junior high school students. Such a new "history" was recognized as "qualified" by Koizumi, who had just taken office, so how could it not cause a thousand huge waves?
Figure 9
In September of the same year, Koizumi negotiated with the United States many times, placing her beautiful wish to "change Japan" on this "world big brother", and declared to the outside world that the United States will bring major changes to the Japanese economy.
Then Koizumi ordered to bear various security and medical expenses for the United States, and later even formed a self-defense force to go to Iraq . His flattering face made the international disgusted, but the most unexpected thing was that he actually decided to visit China.
is obvious. Koizumi's attitude changes only because of interests. His intention is nothing more than "boss and fish". wants to improve Japan economically and gain friendly and cooperative relations in the political field . Koizumi can be said to have a good plan.
Figure 10
On such a sensitive issue of principle, we are absolutely unable to bear what Japan has done to beautify the history of aggression, worship the invading war criminals, and hinder China's unification.
After Koizumi suggested that she wanted to visit China, the Chinese leader said: wants to visit China, yes. Let’s first visit the “Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression” in Lugou Bridge!
And Koizumi can defeat a group of opponents and ascend to the throne of the prime minister, so he is naturally somewhat capable. Faced with China's request, he agreed without hesitation, which led to the scene where he went to the memorial hall as soon as he got off the plane.
Figure 11
But what is ridiculous is that Koizumi appears to want to establish friendly diplomatic relations with China and visited the memorial hall. However, when he returned, during the six years he was Prime Minister at the time, he still visited the Yasukuni Shrine every year without any regrets.
This makes people wonder, is it true that Japan really has no one who sincerely repents and faces history?
Many Japanese prime ministers visited China and were in a different way from Koizumi
Once China and Japan were once friendly neighbors. During the Sui and Tang Dynasties, the two countries sent envoys to communicate with each other. That warm scene could not remind people of the war later.
By the Ming and Qing dynasties, Japan also chose to close the country, which means that during the same period, the situation between China and Japan was similar. Similarly, after closing the country to the decline, Japan was also invaded by Western powers, and eventually they changed the status quo through the Meiji Restoration and other methods.
Figure 12
says, "People who have been wet in the rain always want to hold an umbrella for others", but Japan is not. When they jumped from a backward agricultural country to an industrial country, they began to develop the idea of neighboring countries.
first and foremost were China and North Korea. At that time, the two neighboring countries that lagged behind Japan's development immediately became the targets of Japan's invasion. But it is also indirectly because of them that the Chinese people have awakened and turned over and become their own masters.
Until Japan suffered a defeat and surrender, the diplomatic relations between China and Japan also fell into a long "ice period". It was not until 1972 that the new Japanese Prime Minister Kakuei Tanaka chose to break the deadlock, which was also the first time that the Japanese Prime Minister visited China after the war.
Figure 13
After that visit to China, Sino-Japanese relations have made rapid progress and have also become the most friendly stage in modern times. The exchanges between the two peoples became active, trade exchanges began, and China and Japan formally established diplomatic relations.
In 1978, China and Japan signed the " Sino-Japanese Treaty of Peace and Friendship ". In the same year, Deng Xiaoping, then Vice Premier of the State Council of China, visited Japan, which completely opened a new chapter in bilateral relations.
Figure 14
Then in 1995, the then Prime Minister Murayama Toshishi visited China again. This time he also visited Lugou Bridge and the "Memorial Hall of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression". This is the first time that the Japanese Prime Minister has visited the memorial hall, and Murayama Toshiki became the first Japanese Prime Minister to apologize for the invasion that year.
August 15, yes, August 15 again. Toshima Murayama delivered a conversation on behalf of the Japanese government. During the conversation, he made it clear that Japan will face up to history and admit its aggression, and they will also reflect on and apologize.
Figure 15
As soon as this statement came out, it shocked China and the world. This conversation was also called " Village Mountain Talk ", and became history.Murayama Toshima also wrote the four big words "Face the History" when visiting the memorial hall. Koizumi, who is also the prime minister of , also wrote two Chinese characters, so what did he write?
After visiting the memorial hall, Koizumi wrote two Chinese characters with a brush - " Zhongshu " on a white paper about one meter long and half a meter wide, and then left the memorial hall.
Figure 16
After savoring these two words, you can find that they are taken from a sentence in Confucian literature: "The way of the Master is loyalty and forgiveness." In response, Koizumi said that this means forgiveness and understanding. can be seen in contrast to everything he did after returning to China, and these two words became a joke again.
In Confucian literature, "loyalty" represents the principle of not doing to others what you do not want others to do to others, while "forgiveness" means treating others as you do to others. But in Koizumi's heart, these two words probably represent only that we must forgive and be considerate.
What’s more interesting is that since Koizumi took office, the subsequent Japanese Prime Ministers have followed suit and come to China first when they take office, because in their hearts, visiting China can drive the Japanese economy, so why not do it?
Figure 17
However, for my country, this is also a kind of "dependence" of Japan. If China was still in the era of poor people and weak people, how could Japan be willing to rely on it?
Unfortunately, Japan has never understood that whether it is always relying on the United States or constantly visiting China, if they cannot be independent on their own, they will always be just a "chess piece" in the hands of others.
And China will never forget that humiliating history. In other words, if Japan wants to truly achieve friendship with China, then please be sure to put on a good attitude and face history.
