Entering the construction site of the 1,4-butanediol (BDO) project of the municipal key project located in Wuda Industrial Park, Inner Mongolia Dongjing Bio-Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd., an annual output of 280,000 tons of 1,4-butanediol (BDO) project, many engineering vehicles traveled through various operating areas. Technical personnel checked the design drawings, and workers conducted equipment inspections, debugging and other work. The construction site was in full swing.
Since the project started on May 20 last year, all participating units have completed a total investment of 2.78 billion yuan after more than 480 days of intense construction. At present, the project process routes have been fully completed, and system pressure testing, hydropower and intermodal transport are being carried out. On August 1, the project was held for a China Communications Construction Association ceremony and is expected to be put into production by the end of September.
Inner Mongolia Dongjing Bio-Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Inner Mongolia Dongyuan Technology Co., Ltd. The reason why Dongyuan Technology Company chose to build a BDO integrated project in our city is that on the one hand, Wuhai and its surrounding areas have rich resources such as coal, high-quality limestone, methanol, etc. In addition, the local coal chemical industry and chlor-alkali chemical industry have a high degree of coupling development, and have obvious advantages in cost, talent, and industry. On the other hand, thanks to the long-term good business environment of our city, the BDO integrated production equipment invested and built by enterprises has filled the gap in the chemical industry of the autonomous region, received strong support from the autonomous region and our city, and enjoyed the tax preferential policies for the high-tech industry of the autonomous region and the western development.
Inner Mongolia Dongyuan Technology Co., Ltd. is the only 1,4-butanediol (BDO) integrated enterprise that has been put into production in the autonomous region. BDO is an organic chemical and fine chemical raw material, which is widely used in solvents, medicine, cosmetics, curing agents and other fields. It is one of the main raw materials for the manufacture of degradable plastics. In recent years, relying on our city's complete coal chemical industry chain, Dongyuan Technology Company has gradually built a complete industrial chain of coal-electricity-limestone-calcium-BDO-biasable plastic-biasable polyester products. After the annual output of 280,000 tons of 1,4-butanediol (BDO) project is put into production, Dongyuan Technology Company will realize the circular industry model of material-changing and material-forming equipment, helping our city achieve the "dual carbon" goal as soon as possible.
