On the afternoon of September 29, the 2022 China Association for Science and Technology press conference was held at China Science and Technology Hall . The meeting introduced the preparations for key work of the Science and Technology Association system in the fourth quarter of 2022 and the catalog of major activities, and introduced the relevant situation of the 2022 World Youth Scientist Summit (hereinafter referred to as the "Youth Science and Technology Association") and the overall arrangements for the 2022 China Innovation Methods Competition Finals.

November 12: 2022 World Youth Scientist Summit
As a summit for young high-level talents around the world, the Youth Science Association is jointly initiated and co-organized by the China Association for Science and Technology and Zhejiang Provincial People's Government . Since 2019 has been successfully held for three consecutive sessions.
In the past three years, the Youth Science Association has invited more than 32,600 representatives of young scientists to attend the conference, and deeply share scientific research insights with more than 30 Nobel Prize , Turing Award , Wolf Prize , and more than 300 domestic and foreign academicians. It also promotes the establishment of the World Youth Scientist Federation, launches and implements the Summer Academy Plan, initiates the establishment of the Wenzhou World Youth Scientist Growth Foundation, and establishes the "Youth Science Association π Community", providing a platform for young scientists cross-border exchanges .
2022 Youth Science Conference will continue to focus on "Gathering talents from all over the world to create a better future" and "Basic Science Promoting Sustainable Development" as its annual topic. According to the positioning of "global vision, international issues, and China's voice", focuses on United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, Basic Science, Original Innovation, Youth and the Future, as well as new energy, new materials, life and health, intelligent computing, quantum technology and other key contents.

Late November: 2022 China Innovation Method Competition Finals
2022 China Innovation Method Competition is themed "First Innovation Confidence and Promote Self-reliance and Self-reliance". It is planned to hold the national finals in Tianjin in late November. Finally, there will be 200-300 projects shortlisted for the national finals.
According to reports, the competition for the first time will use the enterprise science association as the main sending unit for the competition notice. Currently, the registered enterprises have 1748 , of which has 62 specialized and new enterprises and 44 central enterprises, and 41 top 500 enterprises in the country have all hit a record high. By sorting out the results of previous competitions, a corporate innovation talent database of more than 30,000 people has been formed, and more than 310,000 items of html innovation achievement database has been formed, and the status of corporate innovative talents has been understood through information technology and better contact and serve corporate scientific and technological workers.
