In my memory, my hometown Gulei Peninsula is divided into Qianhai and Houhai. It is called Qianjiang Houjiang in Southern Fujian. There is a kind of sea plant in Qianjiang. It has a beautiful name called mangrove , Evergreen shrubs, small oval-shaped leaves, it grows on the beach along the Qianjiang River and painted on it, matching the blue sea, it looks pretty.

In the early 1980s, I often accompanied my sisters to catch fish and shrimps in the sea. Under the mangrove forests, there seemed to be a lot of fish and shrimps. When the sea water ebbs, we rolled up our trouser legs, lowered our heads, and went into the mangroves. Next, carefully explore the road in the mud, looking for fish and shrimp left in the mud puddle by the sea.
I don't know how long it takes, and I have a big gain. The heavy net bag was full of fish and shrimps, and I couldn't help but look up at the dark green mangrove forest with a sense of satisfaction in my heart. Looking at the sea behind me, the blue sky above my head, and the mangrove forest in front of me, I felt very small, and I didn't even know where I was, as if I was lost. Every time my sisters always call me to go home, I remember that it is time to go home.

In the mangrove forest, we can often see the egret shuttle between them, flocks of egrets flying around, sometimes when they are tired, they stop in groups on the branches of the mangroves. Looking at the sea people who are busy in the sea, among the green and white, in the sea and sky, this is undoubtedly a beautiful picture that makes people linger and can't bear to leave.
That beautiful natural watercolor Chinese painting has been deeply burned in my mind since then, and can no longer be deleted. Since then, I have been fond of the sea and the mangrove forest in Qianjiang.

The mangrove forest has given me too much fun in my childhood. In addition to the large number of fish and shrimp under her shade for us to catch, the fruit of the mangrove forest is also one of the fruits of our work.
When I was young, the family was more difficult,The supplies are very scarce, so every family will do everything possible to find food for their livelihood. Every year when the mangroves are ripe, my sisters take me to pick mangroves. The mangroves are green with yellow and flat round. Every time we pick the mangroves, my mother will let us. Split the fruit and remove the light green core inside, because the core is very bitter, then wash it with water and boil it in a pot, add some lard and some salt, and it will smell good when cooked. People, our sisters and brothers each spooned a large bowl, and ate it with relish, and in a short while, we ate a bowl of mangroves. After eating, I asked my mother with a mouthful of fragrance. My mother opened the pot and let me see it with a smile. Looking at the empty pot, I had to swallow.
Mom smiled and said, "Next time you go to pick, pick more and come back." I reluctantly put down the bowl, licked my lips with my tongue, and went to play with regret. However, due to the large number of people picking, we can only wait for the next year when the mangroves are ripe for the next year. For this day, I always wait eagerly.
Thinking back to eating mangroves, I couldn’t help but salivate, and it’s really strange. My childhood memories are always fresh and can’t be covered. I really want to spend my childhood addiction to mangroves again. ! But maybe you can't find the feeling of childhood.
In the late 1980s, with the development of the sea reclamation movement, the mangrove forest became an eternal memory. I also went out to study, and I had no chance to go to Qianjiang to see the mangrove forest anymore, and I couldn’t taste the fragrance. The mangrove fruit was sprayed. Hearing that the mangrove forest has faded out of people's sight. The memory of mangroves, only when you recall the past that went down to the sea, will the mangroves be clicked out of the favorites.

By chance, I saw the art version of " Minnan Daily", and then I saw the long-lost mangrove forest. The newspaper reported that there is a mangrove forest in Zhangjiangkou of Yunxiao County. The picture, I was surprised by the lovely mangrove forest. It turns out that you are still living stubbornly by my side, but I have no chance to find you, I have no chance to have close contact with you, I hope you can stay in mine forever this time Around. Looking at the map, Zhangjiangkou is actually not far from Qianjiangkou, my hometown. The mangrove forest in my brain could not help being activated. So I can’t understand the whereabouts of the mangroves, I can’t understand, I can’t help but feel a little sad, growing up means losing a lot of innocent and mellow things, but at the same time I will gain a lot of ups and downs.
I know that mangroves have been classified as a rare species by the country, because mangroves can withstand the tsunami that makes the world talk about it, and it is the nemesis of the tsunami. Mangroves, mangroves, you must be stronger than me, you must live well, and you must make your children and grandchildren prosper!
Mangrove, thank you for giving me a beautiful memory, thank you for giving me a wonderful childhood. When can I see your beautiful grace again?
