Mr. Liu Jingru inherited his father's business and studied medicine. He retired as director of Qingdao Municipal Health Bureau. He still wrote and wrote books and wrote poems. He also took a consultation in Tongrentang . His wife Wang Wen is the great-granddaughter of Wang Wu, the right minister of the Ministry of Law and the calligrapher of the Qing Dynasty. Mr. Liu Jingru's grandfather Liu Jingwen is the thirteenth generation. He devoted his life to Qihuang , burned ointment and read night, and lived a lifelong life. He advocated medical ethics. Liu Jingwen and his wife Feng have five sons, the eldest son Shaowen, the third son Zhiwen, the fifth son Ji San, and the other two died early.
"My grandfather has a relationship with his medical career. He was born in the late Qing Dynasty in 1870. The situation was turbulent and the path to politics would inevitably be difficult. Therefore, he inherited the ancestral property of the ninth generation ancestor and chose to practice medicine." Mr. Liu Jingru said that his father inherited his father's business and became a doctor.
The eldest son of the Liu family chose a different path: teaching and educating people.
"In my father's generation, it was mainly two majors, doctors and teachers. My uncle Liu Shaowen (1888-1948) was a middle school teacher. He graduated from Qingdao Lixian Middle School and had the opportunity to be admitted to Germany to study. Due to the Qingdao War in Japan and Germany, he was seriously ill, and his grandfather was delayed. He was able to study abroad, and his academic status and academic achievements would be higher than now." In this way, Liu Shaowen stayed at Lixian Middle School as a teacher and worked as a lifelong teacher.
Liu Shaowen has been studying with his father since childhood. He has been familiar with " Four Books " and " Five Classics ". He has a strong memory and extensive knowledge, laying a deep literary foundation. In Qingdao, he left behind a large number of poems and gathered them into "Qingdao Hundred Songs". His poems involve Qingdao's social affairs, cultural elephants, famous texts, mountains, rivers and pastoral scenery, coastal scenery, urban style and friend replies, etc. He wrote "Qiuxi Poetry Zhai" and "Qiuxi Diary", which became an encyclopedia of Qingdao. My father followed his grandfather to learn, and he first learned literature, and only after laying a literary foundation can he learn medicine." Over the past decade, Liu Jisan followed his father and learned all the way, accumulating rich medical knowledge and experience.

Since he was seventeen years old, Liu Jisan began to learn to take care of his father and study medical skills on his own. He was able to take care of his own medical treatment at the age of twenty. When flu was prevalent, Liu Jisan saved countless people with his superb medical skills, and the people gave him a plaque "Salvation of the World and Living People".
Qingdao, Tongsheng Pharmacy, was founded in 1927. The founders Xu Youping and Liu Jisan are fellow villagers. He graduated from Shandong Public Political Science and Law School and does not understand medicine. However, he opened a pharmacy in Qingdao. In order to increase his popularity, he invited Liu Jisan, a famous doctor in Zhucheng, to come to the pharmacy for consultation. The pharmacy moved to No. 29 Wudi 2nd Road, and Liu Jisan became the golden signboard of the pharmacy.
Because of the smooth work in Qinghai and in order to escape the war, in May 1938, Liu Jisan brought his family to Qingdao, lived at No. 43 Wudi Second Road, and officially settled.
However, life was not easy after coming to Qingdao. After Japan invaded Qingdao, it abolished traditional Chinese medicine. Liu Jisan devoted himself to writing and was praised by the public for free medical consultation. After Xu Youping passed away, the pharmacy sold the Guo family in Weixian, and then moved to No. 68, Wudi 2nd Road (later changed to No. 66 B), and was renamed Shouchuntang Pharmacy. Liu Jisan was listed for medical treatment as usual. He also organized famous doctors to establish the Qingdao Traditional Chinese Medicine Research Association, write and lecture, and also served as the lecture. He edited the famous medical quarterly "Medicine Acupuncture Rules", and was unique in research on " Treatise on Febrile Diseases ".
Influenced by his ancestors, Liu Jisan advocated Confucianism, collected more than 5,000 books, focused on hard study, and never put down the volumes in his life. He was particularly well-versed in literature and history, proficient in lyrics and chapters, and was good at calligraphy. He has written "Drafts of Song Yinlu Poems", "Selected Poems of All Ages" and "Learning Calligraphy" handwritten.

Mr. Liu Jingru compiled and published it as "Liu Jisan's Poems and Calligraphy Collection" based on his father's manuscript. In July 1955, Mr. Liu Jisan became the first director of Qingdao Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, and in 1958 he also served as the principal of Qingdao Traditional Chinese Medicine College. It uses classic prescriptions that have been clinically proven and reliable in efficacy for many years to make traditional Chinese medicine preparations such as Coptis chinensis cream, eczema cream, Taiyi cream, Jinhuang San, Ganpi Shuangli Pills, and other traditional Chinese medicine preparations, which are very popular.
The valuable thing about Liu Jisan's medical practice is that he advocates the use of medical ethics to save the world, never retreat when he sees critically ill patients, and urgently rescue them.
Mr. Liu Jingru's home contains many collections of poems by Lu Meisun , including one purchased by his uncle and famous poet Liu Shaowen at a book stall. The more precious one is the book "Poems of Liyuan" (inscribed by Ye Gongzhuo). The cover contains the words "Lu Meisun, the author of Ji San, gave it to Lu Meisun during stroke" written by Lu Meisun. The cover of "Lu Meisun's Essay" is written with the words "The Three Consciousnesses of Renshen Spring by Mr. Meisun". It can be seen that both books were given by Lu Meisun personally. So how did the two of them meet? Mr. Liu Jingru said that Lu Meisun suffered from stroke and his father helped her to treat her. Later, she gradually recovered and gave her a book to her father.

At the turn of summer and autumn in 1955, Mr. Liu Jisan took a Huang'an Gong Pill with Qingwen Baidu Decoction, saving a member of the North Korean delegation. When he visited Qing, the man suffered from wet plague and was treated with multiple treatments. His life was in danger. Fortunately, Jisan was diagnosed and was able to survive.
In his later years, Liu Jisan lived in Fulong Mountain, Qingdao. There was a dangui plant next to his house. Because he loved his "spring, summer, green flowers and flowers bloom in autumn, and winter," he called himself "Laoguishanfang Laoren". He taught in medicine all his life, and he had many students all over the world, becoming a well-known master of traditional Chinese medicine in the country. On March 20, 1975, he died of illness in Qingdao.

Recalling his childhood, Mr. Liu Jingru talked freely. Born in Zhucheng on January 6, 1932, Japan occupied Qingdao for the second time in 1938. After coming to Qingdao with his father, he fought for life and still wrote endlessly at the age of 90.

"After coming to Qingdao, I started to go to Huangtai Road Primary School, which is very close to my home. At that time, due to the complex student source, Huangtai Road Primary School had outstanding physical education and not excellent academic performance. In order to get into high school, I transferred to Chongde Primary School, and was promoted from the fifth grade, and took one year to Lixian Middle School." During this year, Liu Jingru studied hard and worked hard to enter junior high school. He gradually became familiar with the classmates and remembered a girl named Wang Wen.
Lixian Middle School was a relatively good middle school at that time, but it was a private school with high tuition fees and a heavy family burden. Although my uncle taught at Lixian Middle School, he often pawned clothes because the school could not pay his salary. So, after studying for a year, Liu Jingru transferred to the Railway Middle School. At that time, "Railway Middle School was a public-funded school, mainly aimed at railway children. It was allocated by the railway system, with tuition free, food and accommodation controlled, three big pot meals a day, and steamed buns." Such "graceful" treatment allowed Liu Jingru to complete her studies.
After graduating from high school, Liu Jingru decided to take the college entrance examination. What should I learn? Of course it's medicine.
My father's practice of medicine subtly influenced him, "I was impressed by the process of his father saving people, especially the respect people have given him, and it made me feel that doctors are a great profession." Later, when Liu Jingru became a doctor in the 1950s and went to the countryside to see people, she also felt the kind of revered touch: "My fellow villagers were very polite to the doctors. They let them drink water first when they came in, and even arranged wine and food to let the doctor eat and then see the doctor. I refused."

946, when Shandong University resumed its school in Qingdao, it merged the medical discipline of Dehua Higher Special College and established the Shandong University Medical School. It is one of the 36 earliest higher medical schools in the country. It has a medical major and has a six-year academic system. It is enrolled nationwide. The hospital is located at No. 5 Deping Road (now Qingdao No. 4 Middle School). The hospital was independently established in 1956, called Qingdao Medical College . The headquarters of the hospital is located at No. 10 Huangtai Road.is different from his father's traditional Chinese medicine. Liu Jingru, who was a professional, studied Western medicine in school. "When we were studying in medical school, we had an anatomy class. The corpse after sterilization of formalin was placed on the anatomy table. During class, the teacher told us where the heart is, the kidneys and blood vessels are, we must all see it, and we are afraid." At the end of each course, the smell of formalin often makes Liu Jingru unable to eat.
However, the words of a primary school student touched him and strengthened his confidence in studying medicine. "I remember one year, a primary school student went to medical school to visit. They asked to come to the anatomy room. I said that the students were too young, so don't visit. There was a child who was very smart. He said, this is science, we must respect science, what are we afraid of?" This scene still vividly remembered. The scene of

I rescued for half a month until the patient recovered his consciousness. As long as there was a glimmer of hope, we would not give up."
This was taught to him by my father and also learned in medical school.
As they caught up with the first five-year plan and the learning system was compressed, Liu Jingru and his group of students had to be trained to find employment as soon as possible. Therefore, after the original five-year study process, they worked overtime for less than 4 years before they graduated. "At that time, it was public expenses for college, and the school paid for food. I remember that it was 12 yuan a month. We could eat steamed buns every day. The country focused on cultivating talents and invested a lot of money. We could still enjoy public medical care."

Wang Wu (1857-1933), people, Laiyang html, the right minister of the Ministry of Law of the Qing Dynasty, and a famous calligrapher. Because he missed his hometown, he called his residence "Zilu".
After settling in Qingdao, Wang Wu never asked about political affairs and sent love calligraphy. Wang Fu has a solid foundation in calligraphy, "If you have plaques, you can write plaques, and you can learn tales without any sings." This is a widely circulated sentence in the capital at the beginning of the last century. "口" of course refers to Wang Yi, and "Tan" is Peking Opera master Tan Xinpei .

In Qingdao, the plaque written by Wang Wu is far better than when he was an official in Beijing. Wang Wu responded to all requests, so that most of the plaques of Qingdao business names were written by him. Wang Wu also carved many stones in Laoshan, among which the plaques " Mingxia Cave " and "As long as you ask for" in Days of the Harem still exist.

Time came to 1960. Shandong Province held an annual meeting of the Society of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Before the meeting, it was necessary to prepare a paper. The Provincial Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine found Liu Jingru and asked him to write the paper. "Actually, I was a Western doctor at that time. Why did they come to me? Because my father is a famous Chinese medicine doctor, they thought I must have a family-born Chinese medicine foundation. In fact, it was a misunderstanding. I have been in school and didn't have much time at home. Helplessly, Liu Jingru had to combine his clinical experience with traditional Chinese medicine theory and wrote an analytical article about jaundice-free hepatitis. Unexpectedly, the paper was taken seriously, and I was invited to attend the annual meeting." At the

In 1984, he was transferred to the position of director of Qingdao Municipal Health Bureau until he retired.
Looking back on the changes in the development of medical science in Qingdao over the years, Mr. Liu Jingru was filled with emotion.
Qingdao's medical level was very good in the 1930s and 1940s. Due to the special era, coupled with the loss of talents and insufficient capital investment, the medical level dropped sharply. "When I first arrived at the Health Bureau, the hospital's equipment was very backward. I had to go to the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Finance to ask for money from the central government every day."
Nowadays, Qingdao has increased its investment in the medical system and expanded a large number of hospitals, which made Liu Jingru very pleased, "It is developing very fast now, and people are much more convenient and quick to see a doctor."

"I think no matter what major you do, you have to do it well. Maybe if you work hard, you may not necessarily have results, but you have no regrets.
