On December 3, according to the Russian Satellite News Agency, Iran’s authoritative media, Fars News Agency, publicly reported that Iran’s Constitutional Guardianship Committee has recently approved the parliament’s draft resolution on "Strategic Measures for Lifting Sanctions". Deliver it to the Iranian government for execution.
It is reported that the so-called "Strategic Measures for Eliminating Sanctions" actually mainly includes three aspects. First, it is necessary to produce 120 kg of uranium with an abundance of 20% within one year, and the monthly output of low-abundance uranium must reach at least 500 kg. Second, within 3 months of implementation, 1,000 centrifuges will be activated to enrich IR-2M uranium, and 164 enriched IR-6 will be activated, eventually reaching the goal of 1,000 units within one year. Finally, the Arak heavy water reactor with a power of 40 megawatts will be upgraded and the Isfahan plant for producing metal uranium will be activated.
Today, the abundance of enriched uranium in Iran is basically above 4%, which has exceeded the 3.67% stipulated in the previous Iran nuclear agreement. As we all know, once the abundance of uranium exceeds 20%, it has reached the ranks of weapons. Therefore, once the abundance is increased to 20%, it will be very close to nuclear-weapon-grade uranium materials. As we all know, uranium enrichment technology is actually a typical difficult first and then easy. Therefore, for today's Iran, if it wants to further increase the enrichment abundance of uranium, there are actually no major technical difficulties. It can be said that as long as Iran can withstand the constraints from various international societies, it can develop nuclear weapons in the future.
In fact, Iran has been experiencing twists and turns in the development of nuclear weapons. As early as July 2015, the then UN Security Council voted unanimously to pass the Iran nuclear agreement. It is precisely because of the provisions of the "Iran Nuclear Agreement" that Iran will not be able to extract enriched uranium with an abundance of more than 5% in the future, and its Arak heavy water reactor is also banned. However, as the United States announced its withdrawal from the agreement on May 8, 2018, Iran finally announced its suspension of the implementation of the Iran nuclear agreement at the beginning of this year. It can be said that with the withdrawal of the United States, Iran's nuclear program is actually on the verge of losing control.
In fact, apart from the United States, perhaps Israel is the most opposed to Iran’s nuclear program. After all, as the only country in the Middle East with nuclear weapons, Israel will never allow other neighboring countries to possess nuclear weapons. What's more, this country is still Iran, which has always been incompatible with it. Therefore, Israel has been vigorously opposing and stopping Iran’s possession of nuclear weapons during these years. In addition to protesting through normal means, it has even used hacker attacks and spies to destroy Iran’s inability to get on the stage, to cause trouble for Iran overtly and secretly. . Among these methods, perhaps the most direct and effective is to assassinate Iranian nuclear physicists. In recent years, several Iranian nuclear scientists have encountered various terrorist attacks. For example, as early as 2010, the famous Iranian nuclear physicists Masood Ali Mohamedi and Shariari were killed by car bombs. In 2011 and 2012, two scientists in related fields were murdered. In addition to the recently killed Fahrizad, in ten years, five well-known Iranian scientists have been poisoned by unknown forces.
However, judging from Iran's current actions, it is obvious that such continuous assassinations cannot make Iran the slightest fear. So far, there is no force that can block Iran's determination to develop nuclear weapons.
