In order to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, strictly implement the requirements of training and preparation, and strive to strengthen national defense mobilization and reserve force construction, on November 24, the People's Armed Forces Department of Qingshen County, Sichuan Province organized militias to carry out live-fire shooting training in accordance with the annual basic militia military training task arrangements.
Compared with previous years, the number of live-fire shooting training is larger, the number of newcomers is more and the time is longer, which puts higher requirements on the on-site organization and command and safety. Before shooting, Comrade Wei Bin, Minister of the People's Armed Forces Department of Qingshen County, formed a team to speak, explaining the characteristics of guns and the key points of shooting operations many times, repeatedly emphasizing the discipline of the shooting range, and requiring the participants to listen to greetings, abide by discipline, and ensure safety. Afterwards, 170 basic militiamen entered the field and shot in batches in groups of 8 people. With the guidance and help of eight safety officers, the participating militia quickly crawled to the ground and standardizedly completed a series of actions such as loading bullets, holding guns, aiming, and pulling the trigger. The crisp gunshot echoed over the shooting range.
This live-fire shooting training was safe and successful. The militia participated in the training basically understood the basic knowledge of gun use and the key points of live-fire shooting, and effectively improved the military skills, combat readiness and discipline concepts of basic militias, laying a solid foundation for the next step of carrying out various urgent, difficult and dangerous tasks.
