pidingjun , was born in Jinzhai County, Lu'an City, Anhui Province in 1914. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, he served as commander and political commissar of the 24th Army. In 1955, he was awarded the rank of lieutenant general and served as commander of the Lanzhou and Fuzhou Military Regions.
General Pi Dingjun's wife is Zhang Feng, who was born in She County, Hebei in 1925. Pi Dingjun met Zhang Feng, who was tall and graceful in Taihang Mountains. She fell in love with him at first sight. At this time, she was the director of the She County Women's Rescue Association. Pi Dingjun, who was the commander of the fifth division of Taihang District at the time, invited the county magistrate to be a matchmaker, but was rejected by Zhang Feng, who had a very unique personality. He was rejected after his first courtship. Later, the political commissar Xu Zirong fully utilized the power of the organization and the masses and personally talked to Zhang Feng. The families of all the leaders of the organs came forward to match the wheels and bombarded them one after another. Finally, they got married at the end of 1943. Later, she served as deputy director of the Political Department directly under the Fuzhou Military Region Command .
After marriage, four boys, three girls and seven children were born. He gave birth to his eldest son in 1944 and his eldest daughter in 1946. He was sent to his fellow villager's house. His eldest son passed away from enteritis when he was two years old. His eldest daughter died of meningitis when he was less than one year old. The adults have three sons, two daughters, five children.
Pi Guohong, born in 1948, studied at Nanchang Infantry College, and later became a battalion cadre. On July 7, 1976, his father was going to the coastal areas of Fujian to inspect and command the military exercises of the coastal defense. Because his father had just undergone several ophthalmic surgeries (glaucoma) and his vision had not yet recovered, Pi Guohong was worried about his father's safety, so he specially asked for leave from his leader and made a special trip to accompany his father to the exercise site. On the way, he unfortunately suffered an air crash and died with his father.

Pi Guoyong was born in September 1951. He joined the army in March 1968. He served as deputy navigator and deputy captain, a staff officer of the Military Training Department of a Naval Base, deputy director of the Operations Department of Fuzhou Military Region, deputy chief of staff and deputy commander of Xiamen Water Police District, deputy chief of staff and deputy commander of the Navy Zhoushan Base, and deputy chief of staff of the East China Sea Fleet.
