And behind this fast combat power generation speed, what are the things worth our attention?
Recently, the official account of " People's Navy " released a message saying that the Anhui ship of the Chinese Navy is currently organizing practical training in a certain sea area. This is also the first time that the Chinese Navy has announced the name of the Type 075 Amphibious Assault Ship 3 through its official account, and revealed that the ship has been put into service, which marks that the ship has officially joined the combat sequence of the Chinese Navy. At this point, the first batch of three amphibious assault ships of the Type 075 have been in place.

This means that China has completed the outfit, testing and service of the Anhui ship in just 20 months, and has given the Anhui ship initial combat effectiveness and support. From the fact that the Anhui ship had only been in lightning service in 20 months, it can be seen that the construction and testing process of the Chinese Navy's warship has been significantly optimized, and the biggest improvement is the construction speed of the ship itself.
We all know that building ships requires a dock, but because the dock is very strict, the construction cost is also very high. Therefore, a shipyard often only has single-digit docks to use. Large docks that can accommodate ships of 10,000 tons are even scarce resources, and even large shipyards have only 1-2.

Therefore, if the shipyard wants to maximize the construction speed of the ship, it must find a way to reduce the docking period of the ship. Therefore, in the traditional ship construction process, large ships can only complete about 50% of the construction work in the dock and will be pushed into the water for outfitting.
However, although this construction method can shorten the docking period of the ship, the cost is that the ship's outfitting time will be further extended. After all, ships launched according to this construction standard only have one shell, and the difficulty of carrying out assembly work in this state can be imagined.
Therefore, the traditional construction model has not really shortened the construction time of ships, and there may even be an embarrassing scene where a large number of ships that have been launched are piled up in the shipyard because they are waiting to be installed, which in turn will drag down the efficiency of shipbuilding.
In contrast, China used the latest total segment construction method on the 075 amphibious assault ship. This construction model will divide the huge hull into 5-6 large sections, and then build these sections at the same time in factories in various places. After all these sections are built, they will be uniformly pulled into the shipyard for assembly, and the hull will be built like assembling building blocks.

Of course, in addition to increasing the construction speed, another reason why the Anhui ship can serve lightning is that the Chinese Navy has further optimized the navigation test of the ship.
Because the purpose of navigation testing is to verify the reliability of the ship. But compared to the test work itself, how to specify the test standards is the most difficult.
This is one of the reasons why the No. 1 ship of many series ships often takes a long time to be tested before entering active service. Because Ship 1 needs to measure the upper limit of the hull performance in continuous stress tests, laying the foundation for the subsequent formulation of testing standards.

However, this matter can also be viewed in the opposite way. That is, if there are complete testing standards, the test time of the ship will be greatly reduced.
The reason why the Anhui ship was able to serve in lightning is precisely because the People's Liberation Army has served Hainan and Guangxi before the Anhui ship, these two Type 075 amphibious assault ships. Rich testing experience and assessment standards have been accumulated on these two ships, and the testing work of the Anhui ship can naturally be completed quickly.
