However, whether it is 4 interceptor bombs or 20 interceptor bombs, this means that our main battle tanks have kept up with the world's advanced level for the first time and have installed active defense systems. After all, the new generation of main battle tanks in various countries around the world are gradually using active defense systems as their standard configuration. For example, the US military's M1A2SEP3, Germany's Leopard 2A7, and Russia's Armata have all installed active defense systems. Among them, Armata's active defense system is more advanced, and it is said that it can be used to intercept tail wing stable shell-out armor-piercing bombs .
In contrast, although we have the world's advanced level of ZTZ-99A and ZTQ-15A tanks, neither of these two tanks have active defense systems, especially the ZTZ-99A. Obviously, this is a conceptual problem and requires continuous progress.
However, fortunately, with the foreign trade version of VT-4A tank installed an active defense system, it means that the domestic main battle tank has taken the first step to use the active defense system.
