On September 15, China Eastern Airlines Jiangsu Company resumed its implementation of the Nanjing-Hong Kong route for the first time, making every effort to expand air channels and promote economic development and personnel exchanges. As of the end of September, 831 passengers have been transported, helping Nanjing Lukou Airport international flight passenger transport volume increase by about 10%.
Starting from September 30, China Eastern Airlines Jiangsu Company has significantly increased flights from Nanjing to Hong Kong, from 2 flights per week to 6 flights per week. One flight is performed every day except Monday, and all flights are used to fly using Airbus A321-200 narrow body aircraft. On the one hand, it provides more time choices for passengers who need to go to Hong Kong; on the other hand, it is also more convenient for flights connecting Hong Kong to and from the Americas, Australia, Europe, Asia and other places.
Nanjing-Hong Kong route is the first international regional route opened after the establishment of China Eastern Airlines Jiangsu Company. Since its first flight in 1993, it has become a window for Jiangsu Province to open up to the outside world and has made important contributions to economic and social development. Today, China Eastern Airlines Jiangsu Company "recently opens the road for Ninggang" and takes the resumption of the Nanjing-Hong Kong route as the clarion call to issue the "voice of central enterprises" to gradually and fully resume international routes. This not only marks the company's "starting" again after experiencing the epidemic war and exam, and enters a more active recovery stage, but also reflects the company's confidence and determination to scientifically and accurately implement epidemic prevention measures and steadily promote social and economic recovery under the overall requirements of the Party Central Committee of "the epidemic must be prevented, the economy must be stabilized, and development must be safe."
As the largest airline in Jiangsu Province and the main base airline at Nanjing Airport, China Eastern Airlines Jiangsu Company has always been responsible for serving regional economic development and building a Nanjing International Airlines hub with its self-consciousness.
