In the last 20 years after entering the new century, after retiring and selling the older medium-sized aircraft carriers in the past, the French Navy has always had only the Charles de Gaulle aircraft carrier. The French Navy believes that the existing technology it has achieved on the Charles de Gaulle is not good enough, and it is also the only nuclear-powered aircraft carrier outside the US Navy. So the second nuclear-powered aircraft carrier in France, the PANG class, which had been looking forward to for many years, finally landed after more than ten years of research.
