In 1991, the Soviet Union announced its disintegration. The rich military heritage of the Soviet Union was mainly inherited by Russia and Ukraine. At that time, the Antonov Design Bureau of the Soviet Union was located in Ukraine, so after the disintegration of the Soviet Union, the Antonov Design Bureau and its armaments and weapons were all assigned to Ukraine, including the An-225 transport aircraft. An-225 transport aircraft is an ultra-large military transport aircraft developed by the Antonov Design Bureau. It was originally developed to transport the space shuttle Blizzard. For this design purpose, the An-225 has a strong transportation capacity, with a maximum take-off weight of 640 tons, a maximum load capacity of 250 tons, and a maximum load capacity of 200 tons at the top of the fuselage. Tons is the world’s largest military transport aircraft, and currently only Ukraine owns one. This transport aircraft was developed in the 1980s. At that time, the Soviet Union’s economy had begun to go downhill. The Soviet Union’s space exploration program had been difficult to achieve. The An-225, which was specially designed and built for the space program, quickly lost its meaning, so it was only built. Two, and only one can fly normally. Currently, Ukraine is actively repairing and building the second An-225 prototype, and the first An-225 is also playing a role in Ukraine as a super-large civil transport aircraft. In use, the An-225 transport aircraft has landed at my country's Hebei Shijiazhuang Zhengding International Airport nine times.

In 2018, Antonov signed a cooperation agreement with my country's airspace industry group, expressing the intention of long-term cooperation on An-225 related issues. Before this year, Shijiazhuang International Airport was the only airport in my country that approved An 225 for take-off and landing tasks. is the huge size of the An-225 transport aircraft, which requires sufficient space during take-off and landing. my country’s Shijiazhuang International Airport usually has relatively few take-off and landing tasks, which can provide enough space for the An-225 transport aircraft. At the same time, the comprehensive support capability of Shijiazhuang International Airport is also steadily improving, and it has also won the favor of freight forwarders and airlines, providing safe and stable follow-up services for An-225 cargo transportation. With the joint cooperation and efforts of both parties, the An-225 transport aircraft can fly to China many times. In April this year, An-225 flew to my country again after five years, and delivered a large number of materials such as masks, protective clothing, goggles and ventilators.
