In 1985, after the 23rd Army was organized, how many infantry divisions were organized under its jurisdiction? What are their origins?

In July 1952, the 73rd Division was reorganized into the 23rd Army, and then followed the army into North Korea to participate in the war. During his time in Korea, the 73rd Division fought bravely. Taking Yu Shuchang of the 218th Regiment as an example, he was not afraid of sacrifice and was willing to contribute, and shouted the tragic slogan of "fire at me", becoming one of the prototypes of martyr Wang Cheng in " Heroes Children ".
In March 1958, the 73rd Division returned to China with the army and was affiliated with the Shenyang Military Region. In 1945, the department was successively reorganized into the 3rd Column of the Jiangsu-Zhejiang Military Region of the New Fourth Army and the 8th Column of the Central China Field Army.
During the Anti-Japanese War, the predecessors of the 8th Column fought against Japanese, puppet and stubborn many times in important battles such as Weigang, Guocun, Huangqiao, Xiajiadu, Cheqiao, etc., and heroic individuals and units such as "special combat heroes" Yuan Jinsheng, "Flying General" Chen Futian, and the 7th Regiment of the Tiger Regiment ( series 205th Regiment predecessor ).

In September 1952, the 69th Division followed the army to join the war, and later formed the division's artillery regiment. In March 1958, the 69th Division returned to China. During the period of peaceful construction, the 69th Division planned to study and investigate wars, and focused on military training and tactical reforms from beginning to end.
Entering the 1980s, the 69th Division took the lead in building a field automated command system, fully carrying forward the fine tradition of the old main division. In September 1985, the 69th Division carried out the establishment of the North A Motorized Infantry Division, with the sequence as follows:
205th Regiment;
206th Regiment;
207th Regiment;
Artillery Regiment;
Tank Regiment ( former tank regiment of the 68th Army );
Anti-Aircraft Artillery Regiment ( predecessor was the former anti-Aircraft Artillery Battalion and the 605th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Regiment ).
From the above, we can see that all infantry divisions under the jurisdiction of the 23rd Army are heroic troops that have been tested for a long time. In addition, the 23rd Army also incorporated tank brigades, artillery brigades, anti-aircraft artillery brigade and direct troops of the military headquarters, and was in charge of the garrison of the 5th and 7th Divisions (after was removed from one after another according to the situation).
