Since 2008, our city has taken the lead in the province to issue rewards to the officers and soldiers of the troops stationed in Tongtong, and enjoy the same level and standards as Nantong officers and soldiers who have made meritorious service. Up to now, more than 7 million yuan of merit rewards have been distributed to more than 2,000 officers and soldiers stationed in Tongtong, effectively improving the status of soldiers, inspiring officers and soldiers to devote themselves to national defense and achieve success in the military camp, and promoting the formation of a good style of respecting soldiers in the whole society. After the
distribution ceremony, the group visited the detachment history museum, command center and other places, and learned in detail about the personnel, functions and other situations of the detachment. Liu Hong expressed his gratitude to the Fire Rescue Detachment for its long-term concern and assistance to local economic and social development, and asked the Municipal Bureau of Veterans to be a good bridge between the detachment and the government, often take the initiative to contact, understand actual needs, and do a good job in guarantee services.
