In order to solidly promote the security and stability maintenance work of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, further enhance the awareness of anti-terrorism and riot prevention in schools, effectively prevent and respond to emergencies in a timely manner, improve emergency response capabilities and levels, and create a safe and harmonious campus environment. On October 8, the Chengguan Police Station of Wuxuan County Public Security Bureau and the County Bureau’s riot prevention brigade went to Wuxuan Town Central School and Wuxuan County No. 2 Middle School to carry out practical anti-terrorism and riot prevention drills into the campus.
During the event, Zhuo Zhenchang, deputy director of Chengguan Police Station, introduced the functions and usage methods of commonly used riot equipment such as riot forks, riot shields, riot vests to the school security personnel, to deal with sudden violent terrorist incidents, and to ensure that security personnel are proficient in basic technical actions and response measures.
Then, the Wuxuan County Public Security Bureau conducted a disposal drill using the scene of terrorists entering the school with swords. After receiving the alarm, the riot brigade quickly arrived at the scene, collaborated with the school security personnel and cooperated efficiently, and successfully subdued the "criminal suspect". After the drill, Wei Weimo, the instructor of the riot brigade, explained to teachers and students the urgency and necessity of anti-terrorism work, how to fight terrorist riot prevention, how to prevent riots, how to save yourself, and avoid risks, etc. in easy-to-understand and other security prevention knowledge. During the
event, the police explained the knowledge of anti-terrorism and riot prevention to teachers and students, patiently answered the questions of teachers and students, and distributed more than 2,000 brochures on campus.
This activity enhanced the anti-terrorism awareness of teachers and students, effectively improved the response measures for campus counter-terrorism and riot prevention, improved the anti-terrorism capabilities of teachers and students, effectively promoted the construction of a safe campus, and created a safe educational environment for the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.
