As the whole country welcomes the National Day and the successful convening of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, on September 29, the "Celebrating the National Day and Welcome the Twentyth National Congress" battle flag flying, hosted by the Party Committee and Residents' Committee of Fuhe Xinju Community, Xihua Street, Jinniu District, Chengdu City, unveiled the retirement service base for the "Fuhe Xinju" and the release of the new book "Fuhe Xinju" was grandly held in Fuhe Xinju Square. Retired military leaders Li Ming, Dang Encheng, Nan Yuanjinghexihua Street Party Working Committee Secretary Xu Qingsong, Deputy Secretary Zhou Shu, Office Deputy Director Ma Junguo, Jinniu District Federation of Literary and Art Circles and Chairman of District Writers Association, and Chen Qingjie, Party Secretary of Fuhe Xinju Community attended the event.
At 10:30 am, the event kicked off with the music of "My Motherland and Me". Liming, Dang Encheng, Nan Yuanjing, Xu Qingsong, Zhou Shu and Ma Junguo were unveiled for the battle flag flying for retired soldiers' entrepreneurship and employment service base; the editors and creators of the book "Fuhe Xinju" introduced the creation and editing of the new book and solemnly unveiled the red silk covering the new book, and the audience gave warm applause.
Ha Xinju Community Party Secretary Chen Qingjie warmly welcomed the leaders attending the meeting, retired veteran cadres of the army and people from all walks of life. Retired military leaders Li Ming, Dang Encheng, and Ma Junguo, deputy director of Nan Yuanwanghe Office, delivered speeches respectively. They said that the book "Fuhe Xinju" tells the moving "Fuhe story" and she will illuminate the future of Fuhe New House with her spirit and ideals. The Battle Flag Flying Retired Military Entrepreneurship and Employment Service Base was initiated and established by a group of retired party members, veteran cadres and veteran soldiers in the former Chengdu Military Region troops. Under the guidance of local party and government departments and veterans affairs departments, the base will carry out party’s innovative theories, legal system, red story lectures and official document writing, news writing, and literary creation training courses, and will open Shu embroidery , knitting, sewing, batik , and flower arrangement training courses for middle-aged and elderly veterans and their families, and will open workshops on calligraphy, painting, vocal music, health care, fitness, and common sense of elderly life for retired soldiers, to match the entrepreneurship and employment of veterans and spread positive energy in society. Everyone expressed their belief that under the guidance of party and government departments and veterans affairs departments at all levels, the base will be able to give full play to its political, economic, cultural and social benefits and contribute to social harmony and progress.
After the event, the Fuhe Xinju Community Residents' Performance Team performed wonderful programs such as "Five-Star Red Flag", "Qinggang Ran", and "The People's Army Loyal to the Party". The college students who participated in the event collectively recited the Greater China chapter of "Proverbs of the Prosperity" created by Nan Yuanjing.
Nearly 200 retired soldiers and community residents participated in today's event.
